Community Outreach is led by pupils through the Interact Club and Makomborero Zimbabwe. Interact promotes 'Service above Self' and enables sixth form students to lead fundraising and charitable projects, including visits and practical assistance to partner organizations. Makomborero Zimbabwe provides A-level academic scholarships and places students at Hellenic Academy through its scholarship program. Additional initiatives include knitting blankets for Kidzcan, clothing drives, food drives, litter cleanups and stationery drives.
Hellenic Academy is an independent, co-educational day school in Zimbabwe offering Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels, plus Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. The Cambridge Examinations framework guides the curriculum, with preparation for IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations, delivered in small classes for individual attention. From Form One, Greek, French and Shona are taught, with Greek and French continuing to IGCSE and French to AS or A2 levels. Music is offered from Form One to Upper Six with Cambridge Examinations at IGCSE, AS and A Level. The campus features a 400m track, a FINA-accredited pool complex with three pools, cricket facilities, golf training at Royal Harare Golf Club, and rugby, tennis and swimming facilities. The school integrates Greek heritage into daily life, observes Orthodox tradition, and runs more than 30 clubs, including MUN, Maths Olympiad, Lego Robotics, and Interact Society. Inter-house competitions promote sport and teamwork.
