The Peterhouse Group of Schools comprises Peterhouse Boys, Peterhouse Girls, Springvale House and Peterhouse Nursery School. They are located on two estates on either side of the Harare–Mutare road, just outside Marondera. Calderwood Park and Gosho Park are conservation areas that serve the three schools. The grounds and facilities support modern, well-resourced learning environments across the campuses. Educational trips are taken annually or periodically to enrich learning, both inside and outside Zimbabwe. The Equestrian Centre is a dedicated sporting facility with daily riding.
The Peterhouse Equestrian Centre (PEC) is an integral part of the school and riding is a recognised sport. Riding lessons take place at the Equestrian Centre daily. The Pony Club promotes instruction in riding, horse care and animal welfare and operates through the centre. Camps and rallies are held to teach best practice in a fun and safe environment. Instructors include qualified staff such as Kylie Wright and Kyla Eggersglusz.
Springvale House, Peterhouse Girls and Peterhouse Boys provide modern, well-resourced, and comfortable learning support environments, staffed by highly trained professionals. Educational trips are taken annually or periodically, inside Zimbabwe. The learning environments are designed to meet pupils' educational needs and to support a broad curriculum.
Music facilities include two recital halls, multiple practice spaces and two chapels, one of which houses a two-manual 32-foot pipe organ. The extracurricular program includes Adventure and Discovery activities such as Bee Keeping, Natural History Club, Snake Club, Science Club, Conservation, Fishing and Outdoor Education. Drama is offered as part of performance arts, and community engagement activities form part of the program.
Peterhouse Group of Schools offers a Cambridge-based curriculum for students aged 6 to 18, spanning Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels. The schools operate as independent boarding institutions with three age-appropriate campuses on two estates near Marondera, Zimbabwe, supported by Calderwood Park and Gosho Park. The AS Level is a one-year course with examinations or coursework, and most IGCSE achievers progress to four AS Levels while others take three; A Levels follow with AS and A2 results combined. Core subjects include Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Geography, History, and more, with additional A/AS Level options such as French, Music, and Global Perspectives. The 6 Cs framework—critical thinking, creativity, communication, character, collaboration and cross-cultural skills—underpins the approach. The school provides University & Further Education support, annual educational trips, and a strong extracurricular program including sport, music, drama, robotics, and service clubs.
