Application & enrolment fees
- Application / Registration: AUD 220 (non‑refundable) for domestic applicants.
- International application fee: AUD 300 per student (non‑refundable).
- Enrolment Confirmation Fee: AUD 600 (non‑refundable).
- Enrolment Advancement Fee (credited against first term's fees in the year of entry): AUD 1,500 (Junior School) or AUD 1,800 (Senior School).
- Enrolment Bond (international students / where applicable): AUD 1,000 (once only; refundable on acceptance of placement).

- English proficiency testing fee (international): AUD 336 per student.
- QCAA levy for overseas students (Years 11–12): AUD 950 per year.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (approx.): AUD 810 per year (compulsory for student‑visa holders from date of arrival).
- Homestay accommodation (where applicable): AUD 525 per week; Homestay placement fee AUD 350; Homestay relocation fee AUD 200.

Levies & compulsory additional charges
- General Levy: charged annually to cover ID card, locker, selected educational subscriptions and specified year‑level items.
- Camp / Incursion Levy: charged (typically in Term 1) to cover outdoor education/camp costs; the camp levy is non‑refundable.
- IT Levy: applies by term for Years 3–12 to support the laptop program (device setup, warranty, licensed software, insurance and support).
- Music Levy: applies by term for Years 3–7 to support the school music program and instrument provision.
- QCAA and other course charges: applicable to senior external certification or overseas student service charges where indicated.
- Suggested Foundation Building Fund contribution (voluntary, tax deductible): suggested AUD 200 per family per term (included on statements as a suggested contribution).
Boarding fees (Private boarding; Years 7–12)
- Private boarding (5 nights): Term AUD 4,000; Annual AUD 16,000.
- Private boarding (7 nights): Term AUD 5,235; Annual AUD 20,940.
- Private boarding placement fee: AUD 350 per student (in addition to boarding fees).
- Private boarding relocation fee (if required): AUD 200.
Other costs parents should budget for
- Uniforms: approximately AUD 980 for a full uniform set (estimate).
- Textbooks & stationery: typically between AUD 100 and AUD 1,000 depending on year level and subject choices.
- Optional diplomas, certifications and non‑compulsory excursions: charged separately as advised.

Billing schedule & payment terms
- Standard billing: fees are billed per term; the College's standard payment term is one term in advance and fees are due on the first day of each term.
- Annual payment option: a 2.5% discount applies to the net tuition amount if full payment for the year is received by close of business on the first day of Term 1 (no extensions).
- Instalments: direct debit can be set up through the My St John's (TASS) portal on a monthly or fortnightly basis; the system will calculate instalments once a schedule and start date are chosen.
- Year 12 tuition: billed over three terms (as noted above).
- Biller details: BPAY payments are accepted (Biller Code 49353; reference number shown on statement).
- Centrelink CentrePay and third‑party payment plans (Edstart) are available; Edstart charges an external transaction fee (noted separately).
Payment methods
- Credit card (Visa, MasterCard) via the secure TASS My St John's portal (online). Surcharges apply for premium cards and for AMEX/Diners.
- BPAY (Biller Code 49353; reference number on statement).
- Direct debit from bank account or credit card via the My St John's portal.
- CentrePay (for eligible Centrelink customers).
- Edstart instalment plans (external provider) — a transaction fee applies (approximately 3.9% when using Edstart Plus).
Discounts
- Annual payment discount: 2.5% on net tuition where full annual payment is received by the specified due date.
- Sibling discounts on the tuition portion only: second child 5%; third child 10%; fourth child 15%; fifth child or more 50%.
Refunds, withdrawal & absence rules
- Camp levy: charged in Term 1 and is non‑refundable.
- Withdrawal notice: one full term's written notice to the Principal is required for a student withdrawal; otherwise fees in lieu of notice will be charged.
- Extended voluntary absence: students absent for more than 10 school days for extended holidays may be required to reimburse the College for any lost Grant Funding.
- Overseas student protections: tuition fees paid by overseas students are protected under the Tuition Protection Service (ESOS); non‑tuition fees are subject to the College's refund policy and conditions.
