Deposit

Annual tuition and compulsory fees (single-year summary)

Tuition by year group
- Grades 6–9: the published base tuition and fees apply uniformly to students in all enrolled year groups (Grades 6–9). The single set of published figures covers each student in these grades.
Per-term / instalment breakdown (base amounts before any instalment interest or administration fees)
- Quarterly instalments (four payments): Total annual School Fees CAD 26,061 ÷ 4 = CAD 6,515.25 per quarter. Note: quarterly instalments incur annualized interest (see Payment terms).
- Monthly instalments (12 payments): Total annual School Fees CAD 26,061 ÷ 12 = CAD 2,171.75 per month. Note: monthly instalments incur annualized interest (see Payment terms).

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Standard due date: School Fees for the subsequent Academic Year are due on June 1 prior to that Academic Year.
- Instalment options: 12 equal monthly payments due on the 1st of each month (June through May) or quarterly payments due on the 1st of June, September, December and March. An administration fee applies to payment plans.
- Instalment interest: interest is charged on instalments at an annualized rate of 2% for quarterly plans and 3% for monthly plans. If a family receives financial aid, the administration fee for payment plans will be waived.
- Late / past-due charges: amounts 30 days or older are subject to interest of 1% per month (12% per annum). A returned-payment or missed-payment fee of CAD 45 is charged per incident. If a payment plan is not adhered to, the full annual balance may become immediately due.
- Deposit timing: the deposit to reserve a place is payable by mid-March of the preceding Academic Year or on another date set by the School.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. Island Pacific School operates as a middle school for Grades 6–9 (day programme).
Other costs and optional / additional fees
- Discovery Week student fundraising contribution: CAD 175 (due April 30 of the student's starting year).
- Learning Strategies (learning support) fees (annual, based on number of support blocks per week):
- One block: CAD 1,200 per year.
- Two blocks: CAD 2,400 per year.
- Three blocks: CAD 3,600 per year.
- Bursary application processing fee (Apple Financial): CAD 137.50 (for families applying for financial aid).
- Any additional activity-specific charges, materials, uniform, or optional program fees that may apply to particular courses or trips are treated as separate charges where applicable; the Consolidated Activity Fee covers standard expeditions, excursions and Discovery Week trips included in the annual consolidated activity charge.
Refund information
- The Deposit, Consolidated Activity Fee, Technology Fee and Learning Strategies Fee are non‑refundable without exception. The School's Tuition Refund Policy limits refunds to exceptional circumstances; the School may, at its discretion, refund an unused tuition balance in cases such as the death of a student or withdrawal due to a bona fide physical disability or a diagnosed mental or nervous disorder that is not temporary, provided a written request and certified medical documentation are supplied. Refunds are not made for withdrawal due to alcohol or drug use (except as prescribed and supervised by a certified medical practitioner).
Fee payment arrangements and administration
- The School offers full-year payment due on June 1 or instalment plans (monthly or quarterly) with associated administration fees and instalment interest (2% annualized for quarterly instalments; 3% annualized for monthly instalments). Past-due balances and missed payments incur interest and administrative charges as described above. Specific accepted payment methods (for example: credit card, bank transfer, cheque, Interac e-Transfer) are not specified in the published School Fees Payment and Tuition Refund Policy; families should make payment arrangements through the School's finance or admissions office.
