Tuition fees (2026–2027 academic year)

- Day student (Saskatchewan resident): CAD 13,000 per year. This fee is bundled and inclusive of tuition, Student Council fee, yearbook, technology services (educational software, email account, wireless internet access and helpdesk support) and accident insurance premium.

- Day student (Out-of-Province): an additional Out-of-Province fee of CAD 9,600 is charged in addition to the Day Student fee for students whose parent(s)/guardian(s) permanent residence is outside Saskatchewan.

- Impact Program supplement (applies to students in designated Impact programs such as Boys & Girls Hockey, Girls Prep Basketball and Girls Club Volleyball): CAD 10,000 added to the applicable student category when participating in an Impact Program. For Day students participating in an Impact Program, the Impact Program supplement is CAD 10,000 (bringing the Day + Impact annual amount to CAD 23,000 under the annual plan).

Boarding fees (2026–2027 academic year)

- Saskatchewan boarding student (Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident whose primary legal parent/guardian residence is in Saskatchewan): CAD 32,000 per year. This includes tuition, boarding, meals, Student Council fee, yearbook, technology services and accident insurance premium.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Two primary payment plan options are published for each student category:
- Annual Payment Plan: a registration deposit (amount depends on category) followed by a single balance payment on the published March 1 date. If registering after the March 1 due date, full payment is due on enrolment. Examples: Day student annual plan = Registration Deposit CAD 3,000 + March 1 balance CAD 10,000 = CAD 13,000 total. Canadian boarding annual plan = Registration Deposit CAD 3,000 + March 1 balance CAD 43,000 = CAD 46,000 total. North American and International annual plans use a CAD 5,000 registration deposit.
- Quarterly Payment Plan: registration deposit + four scheduled payments on Mar 1, Jun 1, Sep 1 and Nov 1. A 3% carry charge is applied to the Quarterly Payment Plan; if registration occurs after a payment date, all past payment amounts become due upon enrolment. Example: Day student quarterly plan = Registration Deposit CAD 3,000; Mar 1 CAD 2,598; Jun 1 CAD 2,598; Sep 1 CAD 2,598; Nov 1 CAD 2,598; total CAD 13,392 (includes the carry charge).

Boarding-related billing details

- Boarding fees as listed above are bundled to include boarding, meals and standard student fees unless otherwise noted; meal options such as a varsity meal plan are available (examples shown for Day students: CAD 95 per month for lunch only or CAD 190 per month for lunch and dinner). Additional team- or program-specific levies (for example league fees) may be charged separately.

Other costs and mandatory items

- Laptop: students are required to bring a personal laptop that meets the College's specifications (Windows OS, touch screen and stylus compatible). The laptop cost itself is not included in tuition.

- English as an Additional Language (EAL) support (when assigned): CAD 2,500 per semester.

- College mandatory items required for purchase through the school Hound Shop: Notre Dame school backpack, gym kit (two sets), and, for boarding students, laundry bags and a dorm lock. These mandatory items are billed/purchased separately through the school shop.

- Non-impact co-curricular and athletic team fees: additional costs may be billed for non-impact teams, tournaments and travel on a per-team or per-event basis.

- League-specific fees (example): Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) player fee is assessed separately to players who participate in that league.

- Family (sibling) discount: a 10% sibling discount is available for the second, third, fourth or subsequent child attending the College; the discount applies only to tuition and does not apply to the Impact Program Fee or other College fees.

- CIBC Student Payment Portal is offered for some categories (the published schedules reference a CIBC payment portal for boarding categories).

- Cheques are accepted payable to Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (families are asked to include the student ID in the memo section).

Notes and practical items

- All fees are published in Canadian dollars (CAD). A 3% carry charge is applied to the Quarterly Payment Plan totals (the quarterly plan totals shown on the published schedules reflect that carry charge). Full payment is due on enrolment for registrations occurring after the March 1 payment date referenced in the annual schedules.

Boarding Arrangements

Over 85% of Notre Dame students live in one of five dormitories. Each dormitory is administered by a House Parent and supported by Assistant House Parents and a group of Grade 12 students who serve as House Leaders. Rooms are mostly four-person, with some two- or three-person rooms. Dorms include common areas with televisions, snack kitchen facilities, and storage space for travel gear.

Uniform Requirement

School-issued mandatory items are required for all students and must be purchased via the Notre Dame Hound Shop. Items will be ready on Registration Day. Clothing is adult sizing. Returning students do not need to repurchase items unless replacements are needed.

Food Options

Dining services are provided by Sodexo. Mealtimes on weekdays are Breakfast (6:45–8:15), Lunch (11:30–2:20) and Supper (4:30–6:15); weekends include Hot Breakfast, Lunch and Supper with similar time blocks. Early meals can be scheduled to accommodate travel, and box lunches and snacks are provided after games; evenings feature a toaster and cereal bar.

House System

There are four Houses: Gunner, Woodchopper, Marauder and Badger. House competitions take place throughout the year and students are organized into these Houses for leadership and activities.

Curriculum

Follows the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education curriculum. A full course load of five courses per semester. Pathways and Guidance help students plan pathways to university study in Canada or the United States, college, junior hockey or other next steps. Graduates go on to a wide range of institutions in Canada, the United States and internationally, including universities such as University of Saskatchewan, Dalhousie, McGill, University of Toronto, Brown University, Dartmouth College, and University of Notre Dame.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The Notre Dame experience extends well beyond the classroom. The program emphasizes personal, spiritual, and community development, enabling students to explore and contribute to their community. The campus uses a House system with five dormitories and House Leaders to foster teamwork, belonging, and leadership. Leadership Opportunities include House Leaders, Works of Mercy, Hounds for Humanity, and the Student Representative Council, providing students with practical roles in school life. The Director of Student Life coordinates activities and support, ensuring students engage with peers and staff in a respectful, collaborative environment. A culture of respectful conduct is reinforced through policies that shape daily interactions and community expectations.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The EAL (English as an Additional Language) program provides an opportunity to advance English proficiency regardless of entry level. Most international students start at beginner or intermediate levels and progress toward advanced proficiency by the end of Notre Dame's program. The program uses varied group sizes to emphasize reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, with differentiated materials to fit learners' levels. In higher levels, EAL may also support other subjects as needed, following the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education's guidelines for Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills and Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency. Students are introduced to Canadian culture, content, and experiences as part of the EAL pathway.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental and emotional health are a core priority for the College. The Health Care Facility is staffed by Registered Nurses and care providers who support students while boarding. A College physician sees students on appointment, and medical staff provide on-site assessment and treatment. Counselling services are available when required, through Child & Youth Services or through independent counselling in Regina (at the guardian's expense). International students are advised to have health insurance, and the Health Care team assists with health coverage applications; prescriptions are ordered by the doctors and filled by a pharmacy. Nurses are on duty during posted hours, with on-call coverage for evenings and weekends.

Safeguarding

The Notre Dame Code of Conduct is signed by all students and outlines expected behavior. Theft is a serious offence that can lead to suspension or expulsion. Bullying, harassing, or abusing others is not tolerated. The policy addresses respectful language and respect for others and their property, and prohibits illegal drugs or alcohol.

Admissions

1. Complete Online Application Form. The online form collects key information about the applicant, including Student Information, Household Information, and Co-curricular Interests. After submission, a $100 CAD one-time application fee is payable. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until programs reach capacity, and international study timelines should consider Canadian Study Permits, which can take several weeks. 2. Complete Applicant Checklist. Within two days of submitting the application, a welcome email is sent with instructions to access the Applicant Checklist through the OnCampus portal. This checklist allows tracking of the application and submission of required documents. Included items are the Online Recommendation Form (to be completed by the applicant's Teacher, Principal, or Guidance Counselor), Educational Assessment (if applicable), English Language Assessment (if applicable), and Report Cards (the final report from the previous year and the most recent report card from the first semester of the current year). 3. Schedule an Interview | Campus Day Visit. After reviewing the application, the Admissions Office will contact to schedule a student interview or arrange a campus day visit. For applicants to Impact programs (Ice Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball), the visit includes a preliminary athletic evaluation by coaching staff. 4. Receive an Admission Decision. Once all steps are completed, an admission decision is issued. Successful applicants receive next steps for enrolment through the OnCampus portal. Scholarships

Academic Scholarships for Returning Boarding Students are available; eligibility requires FULLY RE-REGISTERED with the Admissions Office (Re-Enrolment Agreement with payment of the deposit) by May 15, 2025 Registration Deadline. The Anne Prause Blue Entrance Scholarship is awarded automatically to the first qualified candidates at the time of admission; there is no separate application, and only scholarship winners will be notified.
