Refunds and withdrawal policy

The program complies with the Ontario Ministry of Education requirements and integrates the French Ministry of Education programs, applying the Sisters Antonines' personalized and communal pedagogy with Montessori principles in a structured, intercultural environment. The pedagogical approach respects each student's pace and learning style to foster autonomy and self-esteem. Providence Academy is the only French-language Catholic private school in Ontario to offer such a program. The Kindergarten program runs from 2 years 4 months to 5 years; Primary and Intermediate serves ages 6 to 13, with an enriched curriculum. The language program is trilingual: French and English are taught as first languages, with a third language offered as a second language—Arabic starting in Moyenne Section (age 4) and Spanish or Mandarin starting in CP or Grade 1.

Senior high school follows the French Baccalaureate from Seconde to Terminale. Students prepare for the French baccalauréat exams; from Seconde, they can choose up to two complementary options; in Première, they select three specialties and may add two options; in Terminale, they deepen two of the three specialties chosen in Première and may choose up to three options (Latin, Audiovisual Cinema, Complementary Maths or Expert Maths). 1. Age of entry. Maternelle 2 years 4 months; TPS: must have reached 2 years 7 months before December 31 of the entry year. Kindergarten 3 years: age 3 by December 31 of the entry year. Kindergarten 4 years: age 4 by December 31 of the entry year. Preschool 5 years: age 5 before December 31 of the entry year. Primary 1: age 6 by December 31 of the entry year. These age requirements determine placement for the upcoming school year. 2. Primary entrance examination. An entrance examination is required for entry into Primary and tests knowledge in French, English and mathematics. It is held in the second half of March. 3. Kindergarten entry. An interview with the child is conducted before registration for Kindergarten. The interview verifies the child's understanding and expression in French. The interview forms part of the registration process. 4. Admission forms. Registration forms can be completed online by submitting the application. Applications begin December 1st of each year. After December 15, registrations are accepted according to availability. The process also requires submission of documents as part of the online application. 5. Admission forms downloads. 1. Fill out the admission request form. Submit your application via the Admission request link to open your file. Places are limited and priority is given to current families. Applications for 2026-2027 are accepted from October 1, 2025. 2. Send the documents. After the form is completed, send the following documents on the COBA portal: copy of birth certificate or family booklet; copies of the previous year's report cards mentioning the move to the next grade; copies of the current year's bulletins; school certificate (for students coming from a school approved by the French Ministry of National Education); for entry into Terminale, the marks of the early tests of Première. 3. Attend an introductory meeting. After the form has been completed and the documents sent, you will be contacted to schedule an introductory appointment during which your child will be invited to take the entrance exams. This evaluation indicates strengths and challenges to support integration. AEFE network or France students are exempt from the exam. 4. Finalize your registration. Once the exam has been successfully passed, a final nominative form is emailed to formalize your registration at Lycée Claudel. From this stage, the team will acquaint families with the services offered and the extracurricular activities that promote integration. 606.
