Admissions	Admissions The school welcomes applications from students of all nationalities and cultures. The Admissions Committee prioritizes US citizens; expatriate families; alumni or siblings of current students; and families seeking a college-preparatory program based on American standards and practices culminating in an American and/or International Baccalaureate diploma. Parents with children who have special needs should submit all pertinent documentation for the Admissions Commission to determine whether support can be provided. Applicants cannot be accepted as fully enrolled until their transcripts and other requested documentation have been received by the Admissions Office. ASM admits students of any race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability; it does not discriminate in admission policies, financial aid and scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs. ASM reserves the right to accept or reject any application. Families should complete the Application Form as the first step.	Admissions 1. School tour: Request a visit to Aquinas American School by filling out the online form. After submission, a member of the admissions team will arrange the tour or meeting. The tour supports understanding of the program and community. Submitting the online form begins the admissions process. 2. Interview / Placement test: After reviewing the student's academic history, the school schedules an interview (in person or online) and a placement test to assess academic capabilities. The interview helps determine fit with the school's philosophy and program. The placement test assesses the student's academic level. The interview/test may be conducted in person or online. 3. Formal admissions request: Complete the Online Application. The required documents include the Application Form, Academic Records (last two years and the current year), and Recommendation Letters; English Proficiency must be demonstrated for grades 7-12 via the Duolingo English Test with grade-specific minimums. The test can be taken at home. The school reserves the right to admit, conditionally admit, place on a waiting list, or deny admission. 4. Confirmation of enrollment: Candidates will be notified of the final decision via a formal admissions letter. Once admitted, families will receive a service provision agreement to be completed by the date indicated, along with the required bank deposit to finalize enrollment. Notification timelines: For K1-K3, the notification period is 15 days; a first list of admissions for G1 to G12 is published on March 1; a second list is published on April 1. Scholarships	Scholarships The ASM Scholarship Program exists thanks to generous donations to the Scholarship Fund and the annual Gala. Thanks to donors, ASM can offer the ASM learning experience to talented students who would not otherwise be able to join ASM, and applicants are asked to demonstrate a high level of English and a commitment to contribute positively to the ASM community. The Scholarship Fund is for exceptional Upper School students, starting with two beneficiaries in Grade 9 (3º ESO/ British Year 10). It will cover up to 75% of school tuition and fees. Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 school year and close on Monday, February 23, 2026. Two applications are needed: a student application and a financial application. Two scholarships will be awarded to two students entering Grade 9 in September 2026; when the program is fully established, there will be up to 8 Upper School students (2 in each grade) receiving scholarships. Eligibility requirements include a strong academic record; near-native English (B2 Cambridge); a proven desire to be part of the ASM community; and values aligned with ASM. The scholarship lasts from Grade 9 through Grade 12 on a year-by-year basis and is funded by donations (scholarships are not paid from tuition). The scholarship covers up to 75% of tuition and fees (excluding additional costs such as trips).
