The Learning Support team provides services across the K-12 spectrum, including English Language Acquisition, Reading, Writing, Math, and Executive Function. Documentation is required during admissions to determine whether ASM can support a child's learning and well-being; some students requiring substantial academic or social-emotional support may not be accepted into Grades 6-12.

ASM offers a private bus service provided by Grupo Chapin with 13 routes across Central Madrid, Pozuelo, Aravaca, Majadahonda. It is not door-to-door; bus stops are designated for safeguarding; the ASM Business Office coordinates routes and a bus-tracking app is available; bus monitors are on every bus; contact bus@asmadrid.es for routes and payments.

The school is a K-12 independent school with an American curriculum. It offers the US High School Diploma, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, and the Titulo de Bachillerato. The Upper School follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP).

Between 2021 and 2025, 56% of seniors were admitted to Top 100 Universities in the world (QS World University Rankings). The Class of 2025 had 67 acceptances to Top 100 Universities worldwide and 123 acceptances to Top 100 U.S. Universities.

The school welcomes applications from students of all nationalities and cultures. The Admissions Committee prioritizes US citizens; expatriate families; alumni or siblings of current students; and families seeking a college-preparatory program based on American standards and practices culminating in an American and/or International Baccalaureate diploma. Parents with children who have special needs should submit all pertinent documentation for the Admissions Commission to determine whether support can be provided. Applicants cannot be accepted as fully enrolled until their transcripts and other requested documentation have been received by the Admissions Office. ASM admits students of any race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability; it does not discriminate in admission policies, financial aid and scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs. ASM reserves the right to accept or reject any application. Families should complete the Application Form as the first step.

The ASM Scholarship Program exists thanks to generous donations to the Scholarship Fund and the annual Gala. Thanks to donors, ASM can offer the ASM learning experience to talented students who would not otherwise be able to join ASM, and applicants are asked to demonstrate a high level of English and a commitment to contribute positively to the ASM community. The Scholarship Fund is for exceptional Upper School students, starting with two beneficiaries in Grade 9 (3º ESO/ British Year 10). It will cover up to 75% of school tuition and fees. Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 school year and close on Monday, February 23, 2026. Two applications are needed: a student application and a financial application. Two scholarships will be awarded to two students entering Grade 9 in September 2026; when the program is fully established, there will be up to 8 Upper School students (2 in each grade) receiving scholarships. Eligibility requirements include a strong academic record; near-native English (B2 Cambridge); a proven desire to be part of the ASM community; and values aligned with ASM. The scholarship lasts from Grade 9 through Grade 12 on a year-by-year basis and is funded by donations (scholarships are not paid from tuition). The scholarship covers up to 75% of tuition and fees (excluding additional costs such as trips).
