Admissions
Admissions
1) Admission Process: Joining Crown Private School, Ajman is a simple three-step process. The process is designed to be clear, transparent, and supportive for families. Before starting the stages outlined below, review the mandatory application guidelines for a smooth enrollment. An online application link is provided to begin the process. 2) Submit the Documents: Submit all required academic and identity records through the online portal to initiate the application. Documents required include a recent colour passport-sized photograph of the student; the student's original Emirates ID and a photocopy; both parents' original Emirates IDs and photocopies; a copy of the student's passport (with valid residence visa for non-UAE citizens); and fill out the Bus form and submit during registration. The School Registration Office is open Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 2:00pm to complete the registration form and submit these documents. 3) Booking the seat: Secure your child's place by confirming the offer and reserving your seat for the academic year. 4) Payment & Collection: Complete the tuition payment and collect your child's school uniform, books, and resources. Important Notes: Child's age will be considered for grade placement as per MOE rules and regulations. The school has the right to reject a student's registration if he/she has failed to meet the academic and conduct standards set by the school. The legal guardian needs to provide authentic court documents verifying their legal guardianship. In order to register your child with the Ajman Education Zone (AEZ), the school must register the student's name on the Ministry SIS system by using the student's original UAE ID Card or a Transfer Certificate before the start of the school year. Documents Required: One recent colour passport-sized photograph of the student; Student's original Emirates ID and a photocopy; Both parents' original Emirates IDs and photocopies; Copy of the student's passport (with valid residence visa for non-UAE citizens); Bus form. Open days and private campus tours are available.
Admissions
1) Initial enquiry and school visit. After an initial enquiry, parents should meet with the Admissions and SLT teams and tour the school to confirm it is the right type of environment for their child. They should prepare a list of essential questions covering location, fees, class size, teacher qualifications, enrichment programmes, curriculum, and school timings. This visit helps both sides decide on enrollment and set expectations for the admissions process. 2) Online application and required documents. Applications for admissions run from August 2024 through October 2024, with admissions continuing from January 2025 as guided by MoE. Applications must be completed online through the school website. Key documents required with the application include the student's passport, Unified number (Emirate students only), student residence visa (non-Emirati), birth certificate, immunisation record, parents' passports, sponsor residence visa, UAE ID copies, family book (Emirate students), transfer certificates from the previous school, and any certificates from outside the UAE must be attested. 3) Screening and assessment. All admissions assessments are age-appropriate and are designed to explore the child's strengths, readiness, and ability to access the curriculum. Assessments can be group or individual and are conducted in a generally informal, child-centred manner to help the school learn about the new student. For Foundation Stage, there are play dates to familiarise children and parents with the classrooms, followed by a second play date and a Leaders' meeting for questions. The school offers English as an Additional Language (EAL) support if needed, coordinated by the Inclusion and Admissions teams with further testing if required. 4) Offer, documents, and acceptance. Offers are issued to successful applicants. Families have seven days to respond and must return the required documentation and make the payment as per the offer letter. A current medical record is required, and the school may make a conditional offer in certain circumstances, with the condition and any financial implications clearly stated in writing and signed by the parents. 5) Final enrollment and transfer. Once all steps are complete, the child is enrolled for the forthcoming academic year. Transfer certificates are required for students transferring from within Ajman, other emirates, or from outside the UAE, and must be attested by the MOE, MOFA, and the UAE Embassy as appropriate. The final admission decision rests with the Principal in consultation with the School Director.
