If an invoice item is under query, the balance of the invoice must still be paid. - Students enrolling under the Child Student visa sponsorship regime are required to pay a full year's tuition fees in advance and cannot enrol for less than one full academic year. - Instalment arrangements or fees-in-advance schemes are possible only by separate agreement with the school. - Late payment may incur simple interest charged daily at up to 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate; the school may take recovery action for unpaid fees, and may exclude a student on short notice for overdue fees.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. ICS London operates as a co-educational day school for ages 3–19, so there are no boarding fees.
Other costs (uniform, transport, extras)
- A school uniform is required for Primary and Secondary students; Diploma (IB Years) students follow a smart-casual dress code and do not wear the standard uniform. School ties are optional and are available for purchase. Uniform items are ordered through the school's uniform supplier. Costs for individual uniform items are charged separately by the supplier. - School transport (bus service) and related charges are additional where used; details and routes are published by the school and transport charges are separate from tuition. - Miscellaneous extras that may be charged include curriculum-related trips, examination fees, special education support fees (where lawfully charged), photographs, damage to school property, and other items requested by parents. These items are listed under the school's definition of fees and may be invoiced in addition to tuition.
Refund information
- Except where there is a legal liability or the school's terms provide otherwise, fees will not be refunded, reduced or waived for absence through illness, shortened terms, temporary school closures (including adverse weather or operation through remote learning), early release before the normal end of term, or for other routine events. Refunds or waivers are only made in exceptional circumstances at the Head's discretion. - The refundable deposit is returned only where the refund is requested in writing to the finance team within one month of the last day of the term in which the student completed their studies, or where the required notice of withdrawal has been given and other conditions in the terms are met. The school may retain the deposit where conditions are not met. - If a Child Student visa application or visa renewal is refused by UKVI, the school will initiate the refund process for fees paid in advance on receipt of the official visa rejection.
Fee payment options and practical notes on payment
- Fees must be paid as cleared funds before the start of the relevant term. The school reserves the right to refuse payment if it is not satisfied as to the identity of the payer or the source of funds. Payments from third parties may be accepted but do not release parents from liability unless a formal release has been given. The school may accept payments via third-party credit providers subject to indemnity and separate agreement. Specific payment channels (for example bank transfer, third-party card provider arrangements, or other methods) are handled through the school's finance team and the Admissions/Finance contact on invoices.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- The annual tuition charge is divided into three termly invoices; each term's fees are payable before the first day of the term to which they relate. Invoices are issued separately for each term. Payment of each term's fees is due on the first day of that term. - Permitted payment methods: bank transfer, Fees in Advance Scheme, School Fee Plan for monthly payments. Payments may also be made by direct bank transfer, cheque, credit/debit card or via the Billing Portal. Premium Credit / School Fee Plan arrangements are available for monthly direct-debit spreading of UK parents' payments (credit subject to status). - Late or unpaid fees: the school may withhold attendance if fees are not paid on time; each parent who signed the Acceptance Form is contractually liable for fees until otherwise agreed in writing.
Boarding fees and options (summarised)
- Boarding options are offered as Flexi (2 or 3 nights), Weekly, Full boarding, and occasional/extra night stays. Termly boarding component amounts are included in the termly fees listed above for each year group. Extra weekend or occasional boarding is charged separately at GBP 158 per night (inc VAT).
Other costs and supplemental charges
- Digital devices: The school operates a standardised digital device scheme. Devices are compulsory for UK students except Sixth Form and are paid for by parents; parents may choose to purchase outright or rent under a 36-month agreement with the school's chosen supplier (package includes IT support, damage/theft protection and pre-installed software). Device costs are not incorporated into the school fees and are charged separately. - Extra-curricular activities and specialist tuition: some activities such as Golf, Mountain Biking, Horse Riding, STEM Go-Karting and private music lessons incur additional charges. Private coaching for specific learning support and speech & language support are charged at GBP 67 per hour (inc VAT). - Transport and miscellaneous: minibus services and taxi costs (where the school arranges transport) are charged as supplemental items and invoiced to parents. School Trunk storage and related services are charged separately. Public examination charges, specialist field trips, medical treatment fees, photographs and purchases from the school shop are supplemental charges. - Uniform: uniform is required and is available from the school's appointed supplier; uniform purchase is a separate cost to be met by parents (new uniform available from the supplier's online shop; secondhand uniform options are also provided). No fixed single-price uniform total is published.
Refunds, deposits and notice requirements
- The registration fee is non-refundable. The acceptance deposit is generally non-refundable if the pupil does not take up the place, except where the school fills the vacancy created by withdrawal and the year group is full; in that case the deposit may be refunded less administrative costs. The acceptance deposit generally becomes part of the school's funds and is refunded (subject to deductions for outstanding sums) one month after the last day of the pupil's final term. - Notice to withdraw: a full term's written notice is required to withdraw a pupil (or a term's fees in lieu of notice must be paid). Specific notice deadlines by the term immediately preceding the leaving term are: 10th September to leave at the end of the Autumn Term, 10th January to leave at the end of the Spring Term, and 20th April to leave at the end of the Summer Term. Failure to give the required notice will result in a term's fees becoming due as a debt. Withdrawal part-way through a term does not reduce fees due and does not entitle to a refund for that term. - Exclusion or required removal: where a pupil is permanently excluded or required to be removed for disciplinary reasons, no refund or remission of fees will be given for the term in which the exclusion occurs, and the deposit will be forfeited in many such cases. - Circumstances affecting provision: if the school is wholly unable to perform its obligations for a continuous period greater than fourteen consecutive days, fees for the affected period will be pro-rated and, where appropriate, refunded pro-rata.

The breadth and balance of subjects is planned across lower and middle school, with courses designed to match aspirations, abilities and interests. Sixth Form provision offers continued choice and flexibility, with subject matter appropriate to ages and aptitudes and with differentiation to meet the needs of all students, including those with learning difficulties and those who are gifted and talented. Admissions
1. First Contact: Families are encouraged to contact the Admissions team with questions about the school and to arrange a campus tour. The dedicated Admissions team can be reached by email or phone to organise a personalised visit. Book a Visit is available to arrange this.
2. Submit an application via OpenApply: The application takes around 15 minutes to complete. Have the following information at hand: applicant's full personal information (name, date of birth, passport number and photo); parent or guardian personal information (name and contact details); proposed start date and visa information. If applying for multiple students, each applicant must submit an individual application.
3. The Admissions team makes contact: The Admissions team will contact applicants' parents/guardians directly to discuss the application. This is a good time to ask questions about the school or the admissions process.
4. Letter of Offer: Once Admissions has reviewed all information, a place may be offered. To accept the offer, complete and return the online acceptance forms.
Admissions
Three formal entry points exist: Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12. Stage 1 is Visit Us, with Open Events and Private Visits to view the school, meet pupils, and speak with senior staff. Stage 2 is Make an Application: for Year 7 and Year 9, register online by the published deadline, pay a non-refundable registration fee of £150, provide a photograph of the applicant and copies of the applicant's full school report plus any medical and Educational Psychologist reports as appropriate; those registered by the timescales are guaranteed to be invited to the Year 7 and Year 9 Discovery Day, with invitations for assessments issued after the Autumn Term half term; applications after the deadline may be discussed with Admissions. There is no priority for early registrations and all candidates are considered on an equal basis at the point of assessment; a school reference is requested after registration. For Year 12, the process is similar but requires the student's predicted GCSE results and includes an interview; offers are based on the interview, current school reports and GCSE predictions. Stage 3 is the Assessment Process: Year 6 Explorer's Day and Year 8 Discovery Day lead to assessment for Year 7 entry (Maths and English written work plus interview), with separate scholarship assessment afternoons for Sport and Drama on 11 November and for Art and Music on 12 November; Year 12 applicants are invited to an interview at a mutually convenient time. General information: assessment considers entrance test results, interview, recent school reports, academic progress, and other strengths; all years 7–8 study one Modern Foreign Language (French or Spanish); independence, attendance and positive engagement are expected. Other year groups may be considered where places are available.

Scholarships
Scholarships recognise and reward exceptional talent and achievements in academics, music, sports, art or drama. They are available to students entering Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12 and are awarded based on the candidate's accomplishments in the chosen field, successful completion of entrance exams, and an interview with senior staff and the relevant department head. Scholars may be awarded both a bursary and a scholarship. Bursaries provide means-tested financial support.
