Application fees
- Application form: complete the school's published application form for entry (submission by email or delivered to the school reception). No separate application fee is charged for admission.
Tuition fees (by year group and term)
- Tuition: no tuition fees are charged for attendance at the Debreceni Német Általános Iskola; instruction is provided as the school's standard day-school provision (no term or annual tuition applies).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- School meals (tízórai, ebéd, uzsonna): meals are provided and meal ordering and billing are managed through the E‑MENZA system. Meal charges are billed via the E‑MENZA platform according to the platform's billing schedule and terms. (Families use the school's E‑MENZA account to place orders and to receive billing information.)
- After-school clubs and extracurricular activities: where a fee applies, the published charge is shown as a monthly rate (Ft / hónap) or an hourly rate. Fees for chargeable activities are collected on a monthly basis or as specified for that activity; individual activity listings state the amount and frequency. Examples of currently published activity fees (HUF) are:
- Chess: HUF 7,000 per month per child.
- Lego robotics: HUF 3,750 per hour per child; HUF 15,000 per month (weekly attendance); HUF 7,500 per month (biweekly attendance).
- Sensorimotor (szenzoros) gymnastics: HUF 5,000 per month per child.
- Karate: HUF 5,000 per month per child.
- Children's yoga: HUF 4,000 per month per child.
- English club: HUF 6,000 per month per child.
- Basketball: HUF 5,000 per month per child.
- Several other clubs are offered free of charge.
These activity fees are stated in Hungarian forints and are billed according to the activity organiser's published cadence (typically monthly).
- Napközi (after‑school supervision): day supervision is available Monday–Friday (7:00–17:00) and the school's published information indicates this supervision is provided free of charge; any optional chargeable clubs attended after napközi are billed separately as above.
Boarding fees (kollégium)
- Boarding: the Debreceni Német Általános Iskola operates as a day primary school; no boarding/kollégium provision or boarding fees are listed for the school.
Other costs and fees
- Extracurricular material or participation costs: certain paid clubs may include additional material costs (these are determined by the individual activity and are communicated at enrolment). Published monthly fees above do not state extra material charges but parents should expect occasional small material or equipment costs for some activities.
- School-supplied meals: meal prices themselves are set and billed through the E‑MENZA service; the meal provider and menus are published, and meal charges are handled through the platform. The school's catering provider is listed in the school's catering information.
- Uniforms: there is no compulsory school uniform fee specified in the school's regulations and no uniform charge is listed in the school rules. Standard expectations for appropriate school clothing are set out in the school regulations.
Refund information
- Refunds for paid extracurricular activities: no school-wide refund schedule for extracurricular fees is published in the school regulations; refund or cancellation terms for a specific paid activity are handled according to the activity organiser's conditions and the arrangements communicated at enrolment. Meal refunds and payment adjustments follow the billing and refund rules of the E‑MENZA system used for catering.
Fee payment options
- Meals: payments and billing for meals are managed through the E‑MENZA platform (the school's E‑MENZA account is used for ordering and billing). The E‑MENZA service provides the payment channels for meal charges.
- Extracurricular fees and other small charges: monthly or activity-specific fees are collected according to the arrangements communicated by the school and the activity organiser; parents receive enrolment confirmation and payment instructions for each paid activity (contact details for after‑school coordination are published by the school). For general administrative matters and billing contacts, use the school's published contact addresses and phone number.
(Amounts shown are in Hungarian forints — HUF — and reflect the published monthly or hourly charges for the school's paid clubs and services.)
