Application / registration fees
- The school charges an inscription (inscripción) / re‑inscription fee that is due at the time of registration. This payment also covers annual administrative items that are charged at 100% when billed (for example: cuota SEP, student credential, tutor life insurance and personal accident insurance) and is collected together with inscription.
Tuition structure and fees by term / year group
- Tuition (colegiaturas) is charged as monthly payments covering the academic year September through June (10 monthly payments total). These 10 monthly payments are organized as two academic periods: Otoño (September–January) and Primavera (February–June); each period comprises five monthly payments. Every month or period that is started is charged in full.
- The school offers a discount for payment made in advance for the complete cycle; students who already receive a scholarship or other discount do not qualify for the prepayment discount. Exact discount percentages and conditions are communicated by each bachillerato via their circular of services.
- The institution does not publish a single, public numerical tuition table for Prepa Atlixco by year/grade on its public materials; specific numeric amounts for application/inscription and monthly tuition are set per plantel and must be obtained from the plantel's admissions or treasury office. (See billing schedule and payment terms below for how the charges are applied.)
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Monthly tuition payments are due within the first seventeen (17) calendar days of each month. Every month started is payable in full. A late payment surcharge of 3% per month is applied to unpaid balances. If a student incurs nonpayment of three (3) colegiaturas, the institution may suspend the educational service.
- The academic year is divided into Otoño and Primavera periods; to remain automatically re‑registered when the period changes (January → February), the student must have no outstanding arrears at the re‑enrollment moment.
Available payment channels and invoicing / payment options
- Payments may be made in bank branches using the payment slip generated by the institution's payment system (Unisoft / Multipagos BBVA), by electronic bank transfer (SPEI) to the CLABE provided by the plantel, by debit or credit card (Visa and Mastercard), and via PayPal or Santander online channels where available. American Express payments are accepted through the institution's payment portal with the minimum amount rule noted in the payment circular.
- Domiciliation (automatic charge) to a debit card, credit card or bank account is available for colegiaturas; payment debit dates can be selected as the 5th, 10th or 15th of each month. Automatic monthly charges and card authorization require delivery of the domiciliation form and supporting ID at the plantel.
- Invoicing is automated once a payment posts in the institution's system. If a parent requests an invoice (CFDI), the RFC and billing data must be registered in Unisoft before the payment posts; payments for prior months cannot be invoiced retroactively. The institution issues the CFDI by email once the payment is registered.
Boarding / accommodation fees (if applicable)
- Prepa Atlixco operates as a day (presencial) preparatory campus; there is no boarding provision at this plantel and therefore no boarding fees applicable.
Other costs and one‑time / annual charges
- Inscription covers several annual charges (listed above) that are billed at 100% and are separate from monthly colegiaturas.
- Uniform and school‑supplies costs are required by the dress code and normal operations; the dress code is enforced in the institutional regulation. Specific uniform packages and prices are not published in the plantel public materials and are billed or purchased separately per plantel procedure.
- Charges for optional services (transport, cafeteria, extracurricular activities, field trips, special workshops) may apply; such activities and services may have separate costs and payment terms and, if third‑party vendors or external suppliers are involved, refunds may depend on the provider contracts (the institution's rulebook notes that in some cases a refund may not be possible if contracts with suppliers prevent it).
Refunds and non‑refundable charges
- Several annual charges included in inscription are billed at 100% and are treated as non‑conditional in the institutional rules. Refunds for cancelled activities depend on contractual terms with suppliers and may not always be possible; the general rules make parents aware that refunds for certain items may be limited. Payments for previous months cannot be invoiced retroactively.
Consequences of nonpayment and collection terms
- Late payments incur a 3% monthly surcharge on outstanding balances. A failure to pay three monthly colegiaturas can trigger immediate suspension of educational services under the institution's rules. Regularization of late payments after the payment window does not automatically reinstate eligibility for academic activities that were missed while in arrears (for example, missed evaluations).
Summary of actions required to obtain specific numeric amounts
- The school's regulation and payment circulars define the charge categories, billing cadence, payment channels, late penalties, and which annual items are included in inscription; however, specific numeric amounts for application/inscription and monthly tuition for Prepa Atlixco are not listed in the institution's public materials I reviewed. To obtain the precise current numeric amounts (inscription, reinscription, monthly colegiatura by grade/semester, uniform packages, transport and optional service prices), contact the plantel's admissions or treasury office at the Prepa Atlixco contact points provided by the plantel. The plantel lists its address and admissions contact information for Prepa Atlixco.
(What I found and what was not available: institutional regulations and the payment circular clearly state the billing schedule, number of monthly payments (10), payment windows, permitted payment channels (bank branches, Unisoft/Multipagos BBVA, SPEI transfers, card payments including AMEX, domiciliation options), invoice rules and late/collection policy. Numeric amounts for inscription, monthly tuition by grade/term, and uniform or transport fees for Prepa Atlixco were not published in the documents reviewed and therefore are not stated above.)
