Curriculum

Primary School uses the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for ages 6–11 and follows the Montenegrin National Programme of General Primary Education. Secondary School offers the British Edexcel programme with English-medium instruction, including Pearson Lower Secondary (ages 11–14) and Pearson Upper Secondary (ages 14–16) preparing for International GCSEs. A PreDP course in Year 9 prepares students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). Senior School delivers the IB DP, authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization, with six subject groups and the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and CAS components. The Montenegrin language remains part of the curriculum, while English is taught with an advanced format and students are divided by language proficiency levels.

Exam Results

The Diploma Programme assessment includes final internal and external components. External exams are marked by external examiners and internal assessment is marked by teachers and moderated by external examiners. The Diploma Programme uses a seven-point grading scale. Mock exams are held in June of the first year and near the end of the second year, and final grades are rounded to whole numbers.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme diploma is internationally recognized by universities worldwide and opens opportunities for admission to higher education.

The Admissions Policy sets out the steps for entry across all programmes—getting to know the school, submitting a formal application, entrance assessments, the admission decision, and completing paperwork. The policy also explains entry criteria and required documents and notes alignment with Language, Inclusion, Academic Honesty, and Assessment policies; waiting lists and trial periods may apply. 2) Submit a formal application. The policy lists submitting a formal application as the next step. The school provides an online application form on its website; in the form, basic information about the parents and prospective student and educational preferences and goals are entered. Completing the form does not obligate enrolment but is an essential step in the application review process.
