Application fees
- There is no application fee to join the student queue; joining the queue is free of charge and voluntary.

All schools are free of charge and are funded by the Swedish school voucher system; no tuition or termly tuition charges apply.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- There is no regular tuition billing schedule because the school does not charge tuition.
- Where fees may apply (for example, charges linked to optional leisure activities, certain extracurricular offerings, or other voluntary services), those fees are billed separately in accordance with the applicable activity or service and administrative procedures; records of payments and any refunds are retained by the school.
Boarding fees
- Not applicable. Nordic International School Kalmar is a day primary school for grades 4–9 and does not operate boarding facilities.
Other costs or fees (uniform, meals, materials, trips, optional purchases)
- School uniform: At the start of the school year each new student is supplied with a set of school clothes (five items) free of charge to ensure compliance with the dress code (Years 4–6: 3 light blue polo shirts and 2 dark blue zip cardigans; Years 7–9: 3 light blue polo shirts and 2 dark blue v‑neck cardigans). Guardians may purchase additional uniform items at cost through the school webshop.
- School materials and meals: Necessary school materials and daily school lunch are provided without charge to students; there is no separate meal fee for regular school lunches.
- Optional activities and trips: Voluntary activities, school trips, or other optional offerings may incur separate charges; such charges are not tuition and are billed as specified for each activity.
Refund information
- Tuition refunds are not applicable because no tuition is charged.
- For any paid items or services (for example purchases of additional uniform items or fees for optional activities), refunds and related administrative records are handled according to the school's administrative and webshop procedures; the school retains records of school fee payments and refunds.
Fee payment options
- There are no tuition payment requirements. For purchases of additional uniform items or other paid goods or services handled through the school webshop, payment is processed via the webshop at the time of purchase and follows the webshop's accepted payment methods and checkout process. Guardians use the webshop for additional uniform purchases and any associated payments.
