Academic year covered: 2025/2026.
Application / enrolment fees
- No separate application fee is published for BISM; a one-time enrolment fee applies.
- Enrolment fee: SEK 20,000 (one-time, non‑refundable). The enrolment fee does not apply to preschool.
Tuition fees (by year group)
- PYP1–PYP5 (ÅK F–4): Subsidised fee SEK 15,850 per term, or SEK 3,170 per month calculated over the 10 months of the academic year (August–May). This subsidised rate applies to students who have the right to reside in Sweden and are registered with the authorities.
- MYP1–MYP5 (ÅK 5–9): Subsidised fee SEK 16,900 per term, or SEK 3,380 per month calculated over the 10 months of the academic year (August–May). This subsidised rate applies to students who have the right to reside in Sweden and are registered with the authorities.
- Students not registered as residing in Sweden pay a Gross Fee (gross amounts are not published in the public fee summary).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Fees are quoted per term and are also shown as an equivalent monthly amount spread over the 10 months of the academic year (August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May).
- Termination and notice: To terminate a school place for the next academic year, the school's withdrawal form must be returned by the end of February. A notice of termination takes effect on the last day of the third month after the notice is received. During the notice period legal guardians remain jointly and severally liable for payment for the notice period and for the total gross fee during the academic year; additional compensation for non‑payment of the municipal subsidy during non‑term time may also apply.
Boarding fees
- BISM operates as a day school; there is no boarding provision and therefore no boarding fees.
Other costs and recurring charges
- Fritids (after‑school care): Fritids is subsidised by the government and parental costs follow the municipal maximum rate (maxtaxan), which is regulated according to total household income; the exact amount for each family depends on household income and municipal rules. Fritids opening hours and application/withdrawal procedures are published with the programme.
- School lunch: The school uses a school‑lunch restaurant for student lunches; specific lunch prices are not published in the public fee summary. Requirements for special diets (e.g., physician certificate for certain diets) are specified.
- Uniform / branded clothing: no school uniform fee is published in the public BISM fee summary. School‑branded clothing has been made available via school/parents' channels (for example through the school's parent/ friends association). Specific prices for branded items are set separately by those channels.
Refund and cancellation rules
- The one‑time enrolment fee of SEK 20,000 is non‑refundable.
- On withdrawal, termination takes effect on the last day of the third month after the notice is received; legal guardians remain liable for payment during the notice period and for the total gross fee during the academic year, as well as compensation related to municipal subsidy shortfalls where applicable.
Fee payment options
- The school's public fee summary does not publish a detailed list of accepted payment methods for school tuition (credit card, bank transfer, etc.). Payments for affiliated school activities and parent‑association items have been processed by methods such as Bankgiro and Swish; the school uses parent/administration systems and portals for administration. For billing and accepted payment mechanisms the school's finance/admissions office provides invoicing and payment instructions.
