Uniform shirts are Oasis-logo polo or Oxford shirts purchased from Oasis Okul Sepeti. Students wear their Oasis uniform Monday through Friday and may wear Spirit wear on Fridays. Admissions testing may be required as determined by the admissions counselor. Completed applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee and the acceptance decision is communicated to the family by email. A Capital Fee must be paid to confirm and reserve the child's place. Registration follows, including agreement to follow the guidelines in the Parent/Student Handbook, and a login to the school management system (Sycamore) along with any supplemental forms.
The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) provides financial aid for families with a genuine need for monetary aid in order for their child to attend Oasis. Resources for TAP are limited and the primary responsibility for paying school fees lies with the family. The TAP application is used to review the needs of applicants and provide assistance, and the information is kept confidential. The TAP is considered on its own merits and on an individual basis, any grants awarded are valid for one year, and the school may require documentation to verify income.

LGS Başarı Bursları (LGS Merit Scholarships): For the 2026-2027 academic year, students from outside the school admitted to the high school's 9th grade via the LGS central exam are eligible for merit-based bursaries based on their MSP percentile. The following brackets apply: 0.00-0.49 percentile = 100%; 0.50-0.99 = 80%; 1.00-1.49 = 60%; 1.50-1.99 = 50%; 2.00-2.49 = 25%; 2.50-3.00 = paid (no scholarship). 1. BLIS welcomes applications from all national and international students from Pre-kindergarten to upper secondary. Please submit online application for your child's grade level via the BLIS site. After submission of the online application and payment of the applicable fee, the Admissions Office provides detailed information about the admissions process.
2. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: A group interview lasting about 60 minutes is conducted to observe the child's independence and development. Parents wait in a room next to the interview and complete a short survey about their child's development.
3. Grade 1: Interviews occur in August; August dates are typically reserved for overseas applicants.
4. Grades 2-3-4: After the online application is received and fees paid, applicants are invited to admissions exams. Entrance exams are scheduled to occur in May and August; May is for both international and national applicants, whereas August is typically reserved for those who arrived in Ankara after April from outside of Turkey.
5. Grades 5-8: After the online application is completed, applicants are tested on two formal entrance examination dates in May and August. May is open to all; August is typically reserved for overseas applicants.
