How the school presents and invoices fees; currency and invoicing
- Tuition figures are expressed in US Dollars. Invoices are issued in both US Dollars and Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH); invoices for payment within Ukraine are issued in UAH using the exchange rate on the invoice date. Electronic invoicing is used; invoices are sent by the Business Office to the email on record.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoices are issued electronically to the email address recorded with the school; families must ensure the Business Office can deliver invoices to that address. Payment terms on invoices apply; a late‑payment penalty of 2% per month is applied if a fee payment is more than 14 calendar days late from the invoice date. Parents remain liable for outstanding balances even when a third party has been authorised to pay on their behalf.
Discounts and concessions
- A 10% discount on the tuition fee applies for the fourth and all subsequent students in the same family.
Items not included in tuition and other chargeable services
- The tuition fee covers core educational activities (the school states this includes laptops and essential learning trips). Items explicitly excluded from tuition and charged separately include meals, extra‑curricular trips beyond essential learning trips, exam fees, additional PHE/uniform items beyond the initial pack, cafeteria/cafe food, and transportation. Meal plans are offered (monthly lunch subscription or school card deposit). Bring‑Your‑Own‑Device (BYOD) requirements apply for certain grades; Grade 10–12 students are required to have a Texas Instruments TI‑84 Plus CE graphing calculator for relevant classes.
Boarding
- Boarding is not applicable; Pechersk School International operates as a day school.
Refund and force‑majeure policy
- The school's stated policy indicates that refunds will not be available while the school continues to provide access to its educational programmes under the current exceptional circumstances referenced by the school. There is no refund of tuition for instructional days lost due to force majeure events (school closures for safety, weather, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, or similar events). The school also applies late‑payment penalties when payment deadlines are missed.
Fee payment options and third‑party payments
- Invoices are issued electronically in USD and UAH; the school accepts payments from third parties when declared by parents, but parents remain responsible for fee payment and any late charges if the third party does not pay on time. Specific payment methods (for example, bank transfer, credit card) are not itemised on the published financial summary; the Business Office issues invoices and manages payments.
Other practical notes on charges
- The initial PHE/uniform pack is supplied by the school; additional uniform items will be invoiced separately. Additional optional services (transportation, extra‑curricular activities, extended care, certain trips) are charged in addition to tuition as required. Scholarships (where awarded) may cover full tuition for selected students under the school's scholarship programme; details on coverage and renewal conditions are handled by Admissions/Scholarship offices.
