Boarding is offered for Years 9–12. It is coeducational. The small boarding house accommodates about 60 students and features refurbished facilities with air-conditioned rooms and well-appointed common areas. Evening prep sessions and access to dedicated tutoring support boarders, and weekly chapel services foster spiritual growth.
Uniforms provide a core set with choice across Junior, Middle and Senior levels; students may choose which items to wear from a core set. The Barker red connects the academic uniform with the sporting uniform. The full Barker uniform is available from Plume Store and Noone Chatswood, and online purchasing is available.
There are canteens on campus. Barker canteens use 100% biodegradable and compostable food packaging in canteens.
There are 16 Houses for Years 7–12 and six Houses in the Junior School. The House system provides pastoral care and competitions and fosters school spirit, leadership, gratitude and service.
