BAICA was founded in 1998 when Steve and Judi Cesler, an American family living in Argentina, envisioned a school where children from diverse cultural backgrounds could flourish under missionary teachers, guided by a Christian worldview and a steadfast commitment to academic excellence. What began as a desire to provide a unique educational experience for their own children blossomed into BAICA. From its humble beginnings with 17 students, BAICA has grown into the only International Christian school in Buenos Aires. Today it serves a vibrant PK3 through 12th-grade community representing more than 20 nationalities, driven by Christian values, academic excellence, and preparing students to thrive in a globalized world.
BAICA values families as essential partners in education, and fosters meaningful involvement and a strong sense of community among all BAICA families. Parents participate through Families in Prayer, a monthly gathering to pray for the school community, and Parent Volunteers who support celebrations, activities, special projects, fundraising, and teacher appreciation events. The alumni community keeps connections alive by celebrating journeys, strengthening ties with graduates, and contributing to BAICA's future. Former students, alumni, faculty, and parents are invited to stay connected, participate in events, and share ideas for new initiatives.
