Nightingale School was founded in 1983. The project began in March 1984 as a kindergarten and English institute on Bulnes Street in Palermo. The name honors Florence Nightingale. In 1989 a second campus opened in San Isidro, expanding the project to the north of Buenos Aires, and in 1992 primary education began in Acassuso, followed by secondary education later. In 2006 the institute moved to Ugarteche Street in Palermo; today Nightingale operates three campuses under one ideal, the story of five sisters—Marita, Marcela, Claudia, and Florencia Di Cocco—who chose to share the same project, and the school continues to provide personalized education guided by the motto 'Where there is a will, there is a way'.
