The secondary section is located on Amenábar Street and is housed in a building constructed with spaces and equipment necessary to meet the needs of a modern education. The school aims for fluency in Spanish, English and Italian. Since 1990 Islands has offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma, and its graduates may obtain the Maturità Linguistica o Scientifica, a qualification recognized by the Government of Italy for completion of secondary studies and European university entry.
