The Riverside Spirit – Houses & Captains. Students belong to Nile (Blue), Amazon (Green), or Thames (Red) and compete in sports, academics, and service activities to foster teamwork and belonging. The Captains system provides leadership opportunities for students to take on responsibilities, organize activities, and serve as positive role models for peers, thus building the Riverside Spirit.

Riverside School offers a secular, bilingual education for students from age 2 to 18, preparing them for Cambridge IGCSE in Years 9–10 and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in Years 11–12. The curriculum places English as a core pillar from early years, with Portuguese introduced in Year 7, and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary study across humanities and social sciences. The school operates a 1:1 technology program from Year 3 and participates in the Digital House program in the Secondary School to develop programming and computational thinking, complementing Cambridge qualifications such as ICE and AICE for a solid pre-university pathway. Classrooms are complemented by a broad arts program, robust sports, and frequent travel and exchanges, including a UK Tour. Riverside's motto, Love Thy Neighbour, underpins community service through Love Thy Neighbour and environmental initiatives like Envirothon, fostering integrity, empathy, and citizenship. The school also offers camps, competitions, and trips.
