The school has visual arts, music, choir, and drama classes in Primary School. The Secondary School offers drama, choir, audiovisual media, and chess workshops. Throughout the year, concerts are held in Kindergarten and Primary, and a Play is staged in Secondary.
The school has intensive English instruction from the earliest years, integrated into daily learning. The English language is used as a tool for communication, thinking, and exploring the world, building confidence and fluency. The school runs Love Thy Neighbour, with Community Days each month to support Sueñitos Nursery, Comedor Mamá María, and Casa de Galilea Community Center. The Secondary School visits Casa de Galilea weekly to assist with activities and build relationships. Riverside Green promotes environmental awareness and sustainability through the Envirothon with ESSARP and participation in the Decarbonize project, along with Earth Day and Ocean Day celebrations.
Riverside Spirit – Houses & Captains strengthens community through a House system with Nile, Amazon, and Thames, promoting teamwork, respect, and belonging. The Captains system provides leadership opportunities for students to organize activities and serve as positive role models. These structures foster student leadership and service across the Riverside community.
Sports and physical activity are an essential part of Riverside life, fostering values such as respect, effort, and teamwork. Starting in Year 1, camps and educational trips build autonomy and teamwork, culminating in a UK Tour for Years 10–11. The program includes football, hockey, athletics, swimming, climbing, and rowing across Primary and Secondary.
Riverside School offers a secular, bilingual education for students from age 2 to 18, preparing them for Cambridge IGCSE in Years 9–10 and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in Years 11–12.
