The school participates in national and international academic competitions. Students participate in the Ñandú Mathematics Olympiad, with 5th and 6th year Primary advancing to the provincial round in Mar del Plata. The school participates in THIMUN 2022 (The Hague International Model United Nations), with delegates selected for the team, and in COIMUN 2020. The chess team competes in ESSARP interschool events, and ESSARP activities include a Spelling Bee and a Science Fest.
Art is a dynamic and unifying activity that develops aesthetic expressive competence through time, patience, and systematic work across different artistic languages. The school runs an annual ArtFest with evolving themes, including La Mística (2004) and the Venice Carnival (2005), and ongoing explorations of historical and cultural topics. The Art Department is led by Marina Vibart.
The school is part of ESSARP, the English Speaking Scholastic Association of the River Plate, which unites the leading English-speaking schools in Argentina and Uruguay. Outdoor trips and educational tours strengthen wellbeing, including ecological camps at Carihué in Bariloche and Los Molles in Mendoza, with activities such as rappelling, climbing, trekking, mountain biking, rafting, zip-lining, pendulum, canoeing, and horseback riding. St. Alban's has a long tradition of sport with more than 70 international tours since 1960, including rugby tours to the United Kingdom and cricket tours to Australasia.
St. Alban's College in Argentina is a private educational institute serving ages 1 to 18, with a bilingual, Spanish–English approach from early years through to the Cambridge examinations. Kindergarten San Albano promotes joyful learning within a supportive pedagogical and emotional framework, using a bilingual model and a Bilingual Project that enables fluid use of Spanish and English.
