Introduction

St. Andrew's Scots School in Argentina provides a bilingual, K–12 international education on one campus that unites Olivos and Punta Chica. The school delivers the Cambridge IGCSE framework in Year 10 and concludes with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in the final year, supporting entry to universities worldwide. The Primary program uses bilingual, interdisciplinary projects to develop competencies in Spanish and English, with a third language taught as well. The Learning Journey emphasizes five guiding principles, including a bilingual pathway, cross‑disciplinary experiences, and strong academic development. How fees are billed and payment terms

- The enrollment fee (Matrícula) may be split into three equal installments invoiced in November, December and January if the matriculation process is completed before the specified deadline; after that date the matrícula must be paid in a single instalment.
- The school issues invoices for matrícula and aranceles and provides due dates on those invoices. Examples of matrícula instalment dates and payment-channel deadlines were published in the administrative circular (dates shown for reference in the circular).
- Monthly tuition (aranceles) is invoiced according to the school's billing cycle and families are expected to keep accounts current; specific invoice due dates and direct-debit scheduling are administered through the school's billing process.

Payment methods and billing discounts

- Accepted payment methods include bank direct debit (CBU), debit card and Visa (card) options as published for the matriculation and billing process. A 1% bonus/discount is applied to families who opt to pay aranceles by direct debit (CBU).
- The school's electronic billing and signature platform and PCI/ISO controls are used for payment processing and electronic contracts.

Sibling discounts and financial assistance

- Sibling discounts are applied as follows: 10% for the second child, 40% for the third child and 75% for the fourth child and beyond. Additional scholarship or assistance options are managed by the Foundation and by the school.

Boarding / accommodation fees

- St. Andrew's Scots School operates as day campuses (Kinder/Primary campus and Secondary campuses in Olivos and San Fernando). There is no public listing of boarding or residential programme fees; no boarding fees apply for the day-school operations as published.

Other costs and additional charges

- Uniforms: Uniforms are sold through the School Shop at the Olivos and Campus sites; uniform items are charged separately at point of sale.
- Lunch / comedor: A paid lunch service (servicio de comedor arancelado) is offered for families who opt into the school's meal service; this is charged in addition to tuition.
- Extracurricular activities, optional workshops, school trips and other program-specific charges (for example optional Kindergarten workshops and certain outings) are billed in addition to the standard matrícula and arancel and are individually communicated when applicable.

Refunds and cancellations

- Refunds, cancellation terms and specific procedural steps are governed by the Contract of Matriculation and by the administrative circulars and enrollment documents issued by the school; families receive the contractual conditions, invoices and any refund or cancellation instructions as part of the matriculation paperwork. Refunds and deadlines are handled according to those contractual terms.

- Early-payment, direct-debit and other billing options and any limited-time payment conditions or bonificaciones (discounts) are set out in the school's matriculation circulars and administrative communications for the given academic cycle. St. Andrew's Scots School teaches Cambridge IGCSE, IB (DP) for students aged 2 to 18.

Higher Education Progression

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

SEIL (Spiritual Emotional Intelligence and Leadership) coordinates emotional intelligence spaces, convivencia activities, the House system in the secondary school, and leadership bodies such as junior voice, student voice and prefects. It aims to create a culture of wellbeing across the school by empowering student leadership. The program provides spaces and time for community-building, reflection, and personal growth in a safe environment.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school delivers a bilingual education in English and Spanish. Kindergarten features an English immersion program, and most activities are conducted in English. In secondary, learning is developed in both Spanish and English, with a third language (Mandarin, French or Portuguese) taught.

Mental Wellbeing

Admissions

Admissions

They will send the admission form and outline the next steps. The Admissions team is available for inquiries via that email. Step 2: The admissions process takes place one year before entry. For entry in 2026, the process runs from April 1 to August 15, 2025. For entry in February 2027, the calendar shows August 15, 2026 as the application deadline for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary, and June 1, 2026 for entry from abroad. Step 3: The first point of entry is the 2-year-old class for children who turn 2 before June 30 of the joining year. Initial level is based on date of birth, subject to the outcome of the Admissions Process; Primary is based on date of birth, subject to the outcome of the Admissions Evaluation; Secondary is based on the year completed, subject to the outcome of the Admissions Evaluation. Step 4: The academic year starts in February and ends in December. For students coming from abroad, entry may exceptionally take place in August; the August admission deadline is June 1 of the same year. For students coming from schools following the Northern Hemisphere calendar, admission will be determined as Initial level by birth date, Primary by birth date, and Secondary by the year completed. The final opportunity to apply to St. Andrew's Scots School is February of Year 11, since it is required to complete the last two years at the school in order to prepare for the IB exams. Step 5: Informative meetings can be held online via Zoom; however, the Admissions Interview must be conducted in person in Buenos Aires, aside from exceptional circumstances. Step 6: Where the school is located: the Kindergarten and the Primary School are located in the New Campus, Atilio Betti 3199, San Fernando; the Secondary School is located in Roque Sáenz Peña 601, Olivos. Transport is arranged privately and directly between families and the transport companies suggested by the school.

Scholarships

The school maintains a financial assistance policy through the Fundación San Andrés (FSA). The FSA administers several programs funded internally by the school and externally through contributions from donors, with the objective of retaining and attracting students to the institution. In 2024, the Scholarship Fund supported 164 students. Financial aids include Special Scholarships for families unable to pay full fees, Emergency Loans for temporary financial needs, the Davidson Scholarship for loss or disability of the payer, the Scholarship Endowment Fund (created in 2004 and funded by donations and events), the Maggie Salinas Fund for staff families, The Derek McIvor and Pingo Logan Fund, and the Comunidad Ampliada San Andrés Scholarship for CASA members.
