Introduction

William Caxton School is a private, secular, bilingual, co-educational institution for learners aged 3 to 16. The curriculum centers on Cambridge IGCSE, with a bilingual program running from preschool to support fluency in two languages. The school is organised into Early Level (from age 3), Primary, and Secondary, and it emphasizes emotional development, environmental awareness, digital competence, and growth in the arts and sports. It is committed to inclusive education and celebrates cultural and religious diversity within a secular environment. Internationally recognized assessments are used to monitor progress and benchmark achievement. The school was founded on October 12, 1992, by Ana María Fernández and Ricardo Martínez and opened for students on March 8, 1993. The initial campus housed the Kindergarten and Junior School, and the Secondary School building was completed eight years later. Extracurricular life includes Academic and Intellectual clubs, Arts and Creative activities, and Cultural and Language clubs.
