Shirakatsy Lyceum offers the International Baccalaureate across all levels: IB Primary Years Program (PYP) in the early years, IB Middle Years Program (MYP) for grades 5–10, and the IB Diploma Program (DP) in high school. The High School also offers a National program aligned with RA state standards and an English-taught IB Diploma Program. The Lyceum provides enrichment opportunities including a SAT Mathematics Preparation Course for grades 10–12 and preparatory on-site Diploma Programme courses. The Open Olympiad is organized in multiple subjects and provides opportunities for high-achieving students.
Extracurricular Clubs include Music Theater Studio, Choir Club, Theater Studio, and Piano Course. The clubs rotate each semester, and a student may choose up to three clubs; the program forms part of the Lyceum's multi-content educational approach.
French Language Club is offered. Shirakatsy Lyceum is a Round Square member, enabling student exchanges, conferences, and cross-cultural programs. Round Square ideology includes six principles: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service.
Basketball Club and Theater Studio are among the social clubs. The extracurricular associations rotate each semester and students may join up to three clubs.
Round Square emphasizes service projects and hands-on community service within its network. Lyceum students participate in service initiatives under the Round Square framework, with recognitions such as the King Constantine II Medal for dedicated student service.
Round Square promotes leadership development, offering opportunities for students to practice leadership concepts through projects, conferences, and cross-cultural collaboration. Lyceum students engage in leadership activities and international events as part of RS membership.
The IB framework emphasizes holistic development, including physical and mental well-being, with the Primary School focusing on well-rounded growth. The Lyceum also runs a two-week Summer Camp with cultural activities, educational games, and physical activities, including military-themed training in the first four days.
Shirakatsy Lyceum International Educational Complex in Armenia educates students aged 3–18 within an IB framework alongside a national program. The Primary School follows an integrated RA state curriculum and implements IB PYP for ages 3–10. The Middle School uses IB MYP for grades 5–10 to prepare for grades 11–12 and for both the National program and the IB DP. The High School offers the National Program and an English-taught IB Diploma Program for grades 11–12. Founded in 1990, Lyceum joined Round Square in 2010 and CIS in 2022, emphasizing international exchanges and service. On campus, students access laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, a library with 27,000 eBooks and 15,000 hard copies, a Multimedia Center with a Conference Hall, plus a Concert Hall, Gymnasium, Dance Hall, and a Sports Ground with a tennis facility. Support services include Counseling, Medical, Dormitories, and two-week Summer Camp; university counseling and enrichment activities are offered.
