Boarding is co-educational and available for Years 9–12 at the Caulfield Campus. Morcom House is the centrepiece of the boarding facilities, with accommodation in separate houses for girls and boys. Rooms range from singles to triple occupancy, with all Year 12 students in single rooms. Boarders share common recreation and dining facilities, have access to weekend activities and student life amenities, and are supported by a 24/7 Health Centre and dedicated staff.
All students from ELC to Year 12 wear a Caulfield Grammar School uniform, with variations through the year. A new Academic uniform range was introduced in 2021 to provide a coordinated wardrobe that can be worn year‑round.
Meals are prepared on-site with a monthly menu of healthy options. Three hot meals are provided daily, with lunch served alongside a salad bar and sandwich options; light morning tea, afternoon tea and supper are provided, and beverages are available at other times. Variations for medical needs are accommodated.
The House system is an integral part of the school experience. All boarders are members of Morcom House and participate in House events that build camaraderie across year levels and between boarders and non-boarders.

The Shelford Campus will open in 2027. Boarding is available from Year 9 at Caulfield Campus. Facilities include a 50m pool, a 500-seat Cripps Centre theatre, and extensive arts and performing spaces.
