Day Structure

There is a bus parking lot at the Main Gate. Public transportation serves AIS Vienna via bus 35A from Spittelau (U4/U6) to Salmannsdorf; a walk up Sulzweg and Maulbertschgasse leads to the school. The main entrance (Entrance V) is on Salmannsdorfer Strasse.

Fees

Application & one-time enrollment fees
- Application Fee: €700 (non-refundable; valid for two years).
- Reservation / Deposit: €3,000. For newly offered places this deposit is due within 10 days of the enrollment offer and is credited to the annual tuition; for new students it is non-refundable. For re-enrolling families the Reservation/Deposit must be paid by March 1 and is refundable until April 1.
- Enrollment Fee (one-time for new students entering K–Grade 12, excluding Pre-K): €3,300 (invoiced with the initial tuition payment).
- Capital Assessment Fee (one-time for new students entering Grade 1–12; excludes Pre-K and Kindergarten): €7,000 (invoiced with the initial tuition payment). For re-enrolling students the annual Capital Assessment Fee is €1,556 and is non-refundable after June 14.

Annual tuition fees (2026/27 schedule shown on school fee schedule)
- Pre‑Kindergarten: €15,892 per year. Installment payment options are available for an additional fee.
- Kindergarten – Grade 5: €24,816 per year. Installment payment options are available for an additional fee.
- Grades 6 – 8: €27,536 per year. Installment payment options are available for an additional fee.
- Grades 9 – 10: €28,640 per year. Installment payment options are available for an additional fee.
- Grades 11 – 12: €29,065 per year. Installment payment options are available for an additional fee.

Per-term / installment detail and billing schedule
- Standard timing: Following acceptance and payment of the Reservation Fee, remaining tuition and invoiced fees for start‑of‑year enrolments are due on August 31. For mid‑year enrolments the invoice specifies the due date.
- Installment plans: The school offers installment payment plans for an additional fee; specific installment schedules (number of installments, dates and any surcharge amounts) are provided in the school's formal Tuition & Fees schedule.

Billing terms and payment methods
- Currency: All payments are accepted in Euros only; bank handling charges are the responsibility of the payer.

Boarding
- AIS Vienna does not provide boarding facilities; all students must live with parents or a school‑approved legal guardian.

Other costs and recurring charges
- Lunch: Meal services are provided by an external vendor (SV Group) and lunch fees are invoiced directly by that vendor; lunch fees are not included in the annual tuition.
- School bus: Bus services are outsourced (Blaguss) and bus fees are invoiced directly by the service provider.
- After‑school activities, summer camps, instrumental music lessons, field trips and similar optional programs may carry separate charges; these are invoiced or charged directly for those programs (examples: summer camp weekly fees are published for camp programs).
- Uniforms: The school does not require a general school uniform; sports tracksuits or specific team apparel are available for purchase and may be required for tournaments.

Refund information (as stated in school fee policy sections)
- Application Fee: non-refundable.
- Reservation / Deposit: for newly offered places the Deposit secures the place and is generally non‑refundable for new students; for re‑enrolling families the Reservation/Deposit paid by March 1 is refundable until April 1. The Reservation/Deposit is credited to the total annual tuition amount.
- Capital Assessment Fee: invoiced with initial tuition; for re‑enrolling students this fee is non‑refundable after June 14.
- Refunds or charge reversals for other items (for example: program withdrawals, optional activity cancellations) follow the specific program or vendor cancellation policies and any published school refund terms for that charge. Meal and bus service refunds are handled by the external providers who invoice those services.

Notes on invoicing and timing (practical details for families)
- The school issues invoices that state due dates; for start‑of‑year enrolments the full remaining balance is scheduled on August 31 unless an approved installment plan has been arranged. For mid‑year admissions the invoice will show the required due date.
- The Reservation/Deposit is due within 10 days of an offer and the signed enrollment contract and required documents accompany that payment to secure the place.
