Danube International School Vienna (DISV) is an English-language IB World School in central Vienna for students aged 3 to 18. It offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 5–11, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6–10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12. Founded in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Biber, the school holds Öffentlichkeitsrecht and was Vienna's first fully accredited IB World School. The 10,000 m2 campus has bright classrooms, a bilingual English-German library, science laboratories, a dedicated theatre, a gymnasium, and a secure central playground. PE is supported by the nearby KSV complex, with ice skating and swimming for younger students, and rock climbing and martial arts for older students at nearby facilities. Residential trips for Grades 2–5 foster teamwork and resilience. American International School Vienna is a not-for-profit international school for students aged 4 to 18. From ages 15–18, English is the main language of instruction.
