English is the language of instruction. German is taught as a modern language with levels from beginner to native speaker across Elementary through High School; most Middle School students study German every year. French and Spanish are available as optional courses in Middle and High School starting in Grade 7. An English as an Additional Language (EAL) program provides English-language support for non-native speakers in Elementary and Middle School; High School does not offer EAL.
