IB World School (offering IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme)
Learning Support is available; English Language Development (ELD) is provided, and Learning Support lessons are offered (with fees). If a student has a history of learning support, they will have the opportunity to meet with the Learning Support team. The English Language Development Coordinator assesses English proficiency for entry into the Diploma Programme; wheelchair accessibility is not available.

- Enrollment Fee (one‑time, payable on acceptance): EUR 4,500.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Payment options for tuition: either one complete payment for the whole school year or two instalments.
- Instalment due dates (schedule shown): 1st instalment due 15 July and 2nd instalment due 1 December (dates shown for the published schedule). A 2% discount applies for full payment before the early‑payment deadline. Late payment incurs a 1% monthly charge. All fees are quoted and payable in Euros.
Boarding fees
- Boarding places are available through three boarding institutes in Vienna. The boarding fee range is EUR 700 to EUR 1,000 per month and includes supervision and meals. Contact the school registrar for placement details and exact boarding package costs.
Supplementary and other fees
- English Language Development lessons (per semester): EUR 1,605.
- Learning Support lessons (per semester) – LS Accommodations: EUR 800.
- Learning Support (tiered rates per semester): Level A EUR 1,605; Level B EUR 3,210.
- Extended Learning Support (annual figure shown as supplementary): EUR 8,032. Comprehensive Learning Support: EUR 22,498. Additional individual support and services are charged on request.
- Additional overnight or multi‑day field trips (e.g., Model UN, subject trips, sports tournaments) are charged on a trip‑by‑trip basis. Private instrumental or mother‑tongue lessons are arranged with private tutors and charged directly to families. A PE kit (shorts/shirt) is provided to each new student as part of tuition. PADIS parent association contribution invitation: EUR 50 per family per year.
Refund information
- Capital Fee: non‑refundable and charged in full regardless of entry or withdrawal date.
- Security Deposit: refundable upon termination of the final contractual relationship; the school may deduct amounts from the deposit to cover lost or damaged books, school materials or other costs owed to the school.
- Other items (application fee and enrolment fee) are listed as payable; the fee schedule specifies the capital fee as explicitly non‑refundable and the security deposit as refundable as noted above. Danube International School Vienna (DISV) is an English-language IB World School in central Vienna for students aged 3 to 18. It offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 5–11, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6–10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12. Founded in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Biber, the school holds Öffentlichkeitsrecht and was Vienna's first fully accredited IB World School. The 10,000 m2 campus has bright classrooms, a bilingual English-German library, science laboratories, a dedicated theatre, a gymnasium, and a secure central playground. PE is supported by the nearby KSV complex, with ice skating and swimming for younger students, and rock climbing and martial arts for older students at nearby facilities. Residential trips for Grades 2–5 foster teamwork and resilience. Approximately 30 after-school activities weekly include drama, band, MUN, coding, and Service Learning, with Privately Taught Languages supporting multilingualism. Service learning remains central.
