Science Week was held January 26–30, 2026. Classes 6C, 4G, 3A, 3G, 3E, 5B, 5C and 7B prepared experiments, and ISTA researchers were invited to present on current medical topics. The week featured a large Science Show for primary students and parents. Holistic education with the learner at the center guides our work.
Darstellendes Spiel performances are scheduled for April 9 and 10, followed by Aufführungen Musical Plays on April 13 and 14. A Kulturreise for the 7AC class travels to Florence, Rome, and Naples from April 7–14. A theatre piece titled End to Beginn has been staged.
Erasmus+ brought French guests from Menton for a second visit; The week of March 9–13, 2026 was defined by encounters, cultural exchange and joy, including workshops with scientific focus and opportunities to exchange in German or French, and a visit to Wien Energie Erlebniswelt Spittelau. A Latin language competition is part of the school's language activities. Cultural trips to Florence, Rome, and Naples are part of the school's program.
Volleyball teams from the upper school reached the Landesfinale in both girls and mixed categories. Theatre productions, musical plays and cultural trips are part of student life. The school hosts events such as the Green Job Forum.
Berufsorientierung (career orientation) is offered as part of the Zusatzangebote. Jugendcoaching is available as part of the Zusatzangebote.
Wintersportwoche for the 3rd classes in Flachau runs March 21–27. Volleyball competitions for Unterstufe and Oberstufe are held, with Oberstufe teams reaching the Landesfinale.
Gymnasium Klosterneuburg International School is a public senior secondary school in Klosterneuburg, Lower Austria, near Vienna. It comprises two branches: a language-focused Gymnasium and a science-oriented Realgymnasium, with bilingual classes that integrate the Austrian curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The bilingual track begins with English in Grade 1 and progresses to English-taught lessons across subjects by Grade 4; in the upper school students may complete the Austrian Matura and, alongside, the IB Diploma, with six subjects at higher and standard levels plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS. The school serves ages 10 to 18 and offers a bespoke curriculum alongside the IB DP. Facilities include computer and science laboratories, three gyms, a library, an event hall, a canteen and after-school care. The community is enriched by international exchanges, Science Week, theatre and language activities, and mentoring programmes. This combination supports students' study pathways and growth.
