Academic and Intellectual

The International Christian School of Vienna uses a U.S. curriculum with an international focus. A strong academic program prepares students for entrance into US, Austrian, and international universities. The school also offers the IB Diploma Programme and IB courses to selected students in grades 11 and 12. Graduation requirements for grades 9–12 include English, a foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies, Bible credits, fine arts, and electives.

Arts and Creative

The Arts program includes Visual Arts, Music, Drama, and Digital Arts. Visual Arts offers middle school ceramics and an IB art option in high school, with field trips to see local artists and a Venice art trip every two years. Music includes middle school instrumental instruction and choir; the ACSI Honor Choir provides opportunities to perform with students from Europe, and a worship team leads weekly chapels. Drama enables middle and high school productions, with a London theatre trip every other year.

Cultural and Language

German as a Foreign Language and English Language Learning support language development. German as a Foreign Language is offered in elementary, and English Language Learning supports students across grades. The Romania Mission Trip provides cross-cultural experiences.

Social and Hobbies

The Student Activities Program offers a wide range of after-school options for secondary students including Student Government, Student Ambassadors, Coffeehaus, Praise and Worship Nights, and The Beak Student Newspaper. Students can also participate in talent-based events such as Lip Sync Contests, Talent Show, Spring Festival, and Spirit Weeks. The program emphasizes leadership, service, and Christian character through these activities.

Community and Service

Romania Mission Trip is a service opportunity for ICSV students. The Student Activities Program provides opportunities to learn leadership skills and to serve others. These experiences reflect the school's emphasis on serving the community.

Leadership and Professional

Student Government and Student Ambassadors provide leadership opportunities for students. The ACSI Student Leadership Conference offers leadership development and collaboration with peers.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

ICSV offers a wide variety of sports programs for all secondary students, including Fall, Winter, and Spring sports such as high school and middle school soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and golf. Teams compete in friendly competitions against neighboring international schools and in the Danube Valley Athletic Conference (DVAC) with teams from Vienna, Salzburg, Bratislava, and beyond. The athletics program emphasizes teamwork, self-discipline, time management, and personal growth.

International Christian School of Vienna is a private international Christian school in Austria with Öffentlichkeitsrecht status. It is accredited by ACSI and MSA and is an IB World School offering an American curriculum from age 5 through Grade 12 inclusive, with the IB Diploma Programme option for Grades 11–12. The curriculum is aligned with the CCSS, NGSS, and AERO to prepare students for US, Austrian, and international university study. The school serves about 320 students from more than 65 nationalities and is pursuing a state of the art facility to accommodate 500–600 students. The campus includes four science labs, laboratories and makerspaces, a library with digital resources, and learning commons with pullout rooms for nonnative English speakers and learners with challenges. Athletics facilities comprise a gymnasium, outdoor fields, a rooftop track, and spaces for afterschool sports. A performing arts space, recording studio, and pottery area support drama, music, and visual arts.
