Facilities Overview

The International Highschool Herzogberg is located at the foot of the Vienna Woods in Perchtoldsdorf, surrounded by vineyards and nature with access to Vienna's cultural attractions. The school property covers 14,000 m² of land for outdoor study and sports activities. The building is newly constructed with 960 m² of dedicated space, including classrooms, a laboratory, a workshop and leisure areas for students to rest. The campus supports on-site study and recreation in a natural setting.

Academic Facilities

Biology and chemistry have their own laboratory with 15 work spaces for experiments and research activities. The Highschool program focuses on languages, sciences and arts & culture, with science and arts tracks available and small class sizes in groups of up to 15 students. The 10th grade follows the Austrian national curriculum of an Oberstufenrealgymnasium with creative emphasis. In the 11th and 12th grades, students can pursue a diploma in six subjects of their choice, including German, English, mathematics, Spanish, chemistry, biology, history and visual arts; courses are taught in English or German and include 120 hours of community work.

International Highschool Herzogberg is a bilingual IB World School in Perchtoldsdorf, outside Vienna. The school combines the Austrian Junior High curriculum (grades 7–9) with the IB Diploma Programme (grades 10–12), taught in English and German, with Spanish as additional subject. Class sizes are capped at 15 students, enabling close guidance and active participation. The junior high emphasizes health, creativity, education and economic understanding, while the high school focuses on Languages, Science and Art and Culture, culminating in a university entrance qualification through the IB. The campus sits on a 14,000 m2 site at the foot of the Vienna Woods, with a 960 m2 facility that includes classrooms, a laboratory, a workshop and leisure areas.
