How fees are charged (billing schedule and payment terms)
- Membership contributions are charged on a per‑school‑year basis (annual amount). Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. LISA operates as a public day school; no boarding or internat fees are charged.
Other costs and fees
- Excursions, cultural trips, language trips, exchange programmes and similar additional activities are not included in the membership contribution and are charged separately.
- Books, teaching materials, assistance hours and additional remedial or support courses are financed and administered by the LISA Support Association using membership contributions and sponsor funds; certain materials or optional external services may still incur separate charges.
- Private tutoring, optional external exam fees, travel related to exchange programmes and certain extracurricular costs are charged in addition to the membership contribution when applicable.
Refund information
- If a pupil is deregistered during the school year there is a possibility of a partial refund of the membership contribution on request (cutoff: last day before the semester break). When a registration or deregistration occurs during the school year, the fee for the started semester is generally due in full unless a specific refund arrangement is approved. Some historical communications also note partial refunds under defined conditions (administrative approval required).
