The school offers a high-quality international education in English for international families and those living in the greater Antwerp region. Admissions are rolling, with students admitted throughout the school year. Applications are submitted via the admissions form, and the Head of Admissions contacts families after submission. The school is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), the Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
The school maintains waiting lists when necessary due to rolling admissions and ongoing student turnover; a waiting list is opened for a grade when that grade is full.
AIS Seeks Talent is a scholarship programme that enables talented students from local and international communities in Antwerp to access AIS's education when families find it challenging to pay the usual school fees. The programme has a total capacity of 50 places and is open to students from Kindergarten (age 5) to Grade 12 (age 17). Applications must come from individual families, not groups, corporate fee-paying clients or organizations. The scholarship covers a reduction in school fees of 10%–60%, with the possibility of up to 85% in exceptional cases. The scholarship is based on Academic Achievement and Attitudes to Learning, including evidence of good academic achievement (or academic promise in Primary) and other criteria such as behaviour, attendance and social contribution. The application process is two steps: first complete the general admissions process; once accepted, contact Romy De Keulenaer to request the AIS Seeks Talent Scholarship application forms.
