Application and one-off fees

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoicing structure (standard): 70% of the annual tuition is invoiced on 1 July and 30% on 1 December. Tuition is payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Late payment penalty: A late payment charge of 1.5% per month is charged on amounts outstanding more than 30 days after invoicing. All parents are liable for fees on the due date regardless of any company contributions.
- Taxi (transport) billing: Taxi users are invoiced monthly; signing up for taxi service commits the family to pay for all school days regardless of actual usage.

Tuition adjustments, entry mid‑year and refunds
- Students who leave early (examples from the policy):

- If the tuition was paid in full and the student leaves between 1 July and 31 December, 30% of the fees will be reimbursed.
- If the tuition was paid in full and the student leaves between 1 January and 30 June, there is no refund.
- Students enrolling after the start of the school year are charged a pro rata amount based on the month of enrolment (examples: January 70% of annual fees; February 60%; March 50%; April 40%; May 30%; June 20%). Students who enrol between 1 September and 31 December pay the full-year fee.

Fee payment options and bank details
- Bank transfer is used for application and tuition payments. The school provides IBAN account details for payments (BNP Paribas Fortis and KBC accounts) and requests the payment memo to include the child(ren)'s name(s) and the relevant school year. Lunch card payments are electronic. No credit-card payment method is listed in the published schedule.

Antwerp International School is an IB World School in Belgium serving PreSchool to Grade 12, with 330 students from 40 nationalities and a 7:1 student‑to‑faculty ratio. The school offers the IB continuum: PYP, MYP and DP. English is the language of instruction; from Grade 6, four lessons per week are taught in French. AIS provides Mother Tongue instruction for English and Dutch from Starter to Grade 12; German Mother Tongue from Grade 1; French Mother Tongue from Grade 6, with Spanish Ab Initio in the DP. The campus features the STEMzone, a €2+ million facility with science labs, fabrication labs, makerspaces, mathematics spaces and IT areas.
