Extracurricular activities are open to everyone and take place after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Stay & Learn can extend to 6 p.m.) and on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. (Stay & Learn can extend to 4 p.m.). Registration is via APSchool. The programme includes academic and skill-based activities such as Math Club, Coding (Logiscool), and Chess & Go.
Music is offered through a Music School, with Petite Chapelle providing 30-minute lessons in piano, guitar, drums, violin, and cello; Primary and Secondary School Choirs are available, with showcases once or twice per semester. Art and creative workshops include Audiovisual Workshop, Art Workshop, and Artist Club, plus Woodwork and CREA'GILITY. These activities develop musical, artistic and theatrical talents and foster creativity and teamwork.
Languages: French Boost (PRIMARY) and English Boost (PRIMARY). Cultural Activities include Eloquence and Theater; Music and Art (including choir or music lessons offered as extracurricular activities); Etiquette culture; reading development with a library open during school hours; and cultural outings to theater, opera, and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
Social and hobby activities include sport, arts and creative clubs after school such as Mini-GYM, Fencing, Soccer, Karate Goju Ryu, Capoeira, Artistic Gymnastics, Chess & Go, Movie Club, Outdoor Schooling, Mini Explorers, Little Explorers, Coding, Art Workshop, and Woodwork. These activities provide physical activity, creativity and social engagement.
Social programs include involvement in charitable associations in Brussels such as Guetteurs de l'Aube and the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award under CAS (Creativity, Action, Service). The school also partners with the orphanage Le village de la Joie in Togo.
The Duke of Edinburgh programme develops leadership, perseverance, and project-management skills for young people aged 14 to 24 and includes volunteering, physical activity, skills, adventure, and a Gold Residential Project.
The campus features a large multipurpose gymnasium and outdoor spaces for a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports. After-school provisions include Stay & Learn (3:30 p.m.–4:45 p.m., with extensions to 6 p.m.), Homework Support, Boost Classes, and Child Care for kindergartners. In school holidays, EEBA runs a Summer Camp offering artistic, scientific, sports and educational activities.
European School of Bruxelles-Argenteuil (EEBA) is a private bilingual school in Belgium offering the European Schools program alongside a bespoke curriculum, from ages 3 to 18. The school provides the European Baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate as two reference diplomas, enabling students to pursue university study across Europe and beyond. The campus is situated on the Château d'Argenteuil grounds near Waterloo, combining historic settings with modern classrooms, science laboratories, a large library, and ICT facilities.
