Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

Exhibition PYP is a major group investigative project in the final year of the Primary Years Programme. Students develop a complete Investigative Unit on a self-chosen, challenging topic. They present the five essential elements and demonstrate how each student has developed IB Learner Profile attributes: Investigative, Knowledgeable, Thinker, Communicator, Audacious, Principled, Caring, Open-minded, Balanced, and Reflective. The Exhibition is open to the entire school community.

Arts and Creative

The campus includes dedicated spaces for performing arts, including a ballet room and a space for dance, with an auditorium stage that hosts events and graduations. Ballet and dance are offered as activities within the timetable, and theatre is also part of the arts program. Workshops and hands-on arts activities occur in spaces designed for workshops and creative projects.

Cultural and Language

Languages taught include English, German, and Spanish. English is taught with five weekly classes, and bilingual instruction occurs in the IB Diploma Programme. Students prepare for Cambridge exams (Starters and Movers), and the school is officially certified as a Cambridge Exam Preparation Center, with certificates available from Goethe for German and Cervantes for Spanish.

Social and Hobbies

In the 2nd through 5th years, extracurricular activities include Judo or Capoeira, Soccer or Dance, Swimming, Hands-on Crafts, and Library sessions. These activities are integrated into the school timetable alongside core subjects. They promote social skills, collaboration and personal development.

Leadership and Professional

The Primary Years Programme includes a Student Agency component. Students have a voice to ask questions, a choice to decide how they learn, and responsibility for their learning and actions. The teacher acts as a facilitator, helping students develop self-regulation, self-monitoring, self-instruction, and lifelong learning dispositions.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The school provides spaces for sport and leisure, including a covered sports court, a synthetic grass field, a sand field, and a swimming pool. There are dedicated spaces for judo and ballet, and an auditorium with a stage for events. The timetable blends curricular classes with sports and artistic activities to support physical activity and well-being.
