The school offers three pathways: Natural Sciences and Mathematics; Humanities and Languages; and the Languages pathway that follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. From the first year, students choose a learning pathway aligned with their life projects and interests. In Grade 12, students follow either the Brazilian National Curriculum or the IBDP program integrated with the Brazilian National Curriculum. Complementary experiences include the Problem Solving Laboratory (10th grade), Scientific Research Methodology (11th grade), mentorship, supervised studies, and electives; the school has been a Cambridge English Preparation Center for Young Learners, Key, Preliminary, First and Advanced since 2021.
Theater, Communication, and Expression build creative expression, communication skills, and teamwork. Electives reflect on social and cultural themes and are offered in 10th–12th grades to deepen knowledge beyond the standard curriculum. Additional opportunities for arts and performance are provided as part of complementary activities in the upper grades.
The Languages pathway follows the IB curriculum, supporting language learning and intercultural understanding. The school emphasizes global citizenship as part of its seven global competencies, including cultural awareness. The IB language pathway and related programs foster international-mindedness and language development across the senior grades.
Complementary Activities for 10th–12th grades include student councils, study groups, sports, arts, and volunteer work, enabling students to explore interests beyond the classroom. These activities promote collaboration, leadership, and peer engagement across disciplines.
Volunteer work and community engagement are integral to the school's activity mix, reflecting social responsibility initiatives and opportunities to contribute to the broader community.
Student councils and mentorship programs provide leadership development and personal growth guidance. The school emphasizes preparation for university entrance exams and career development through its IB and Brazilian curricula, with dedicated staff and advising to support student trajectories.
Practices of Body and Mind focus on physical activity and overall well-being. Mentorship supports socio-emotional development and personal growth, helping students cultivate a balanced approach to life and learning.
Colégio São Luís is a co‑educational private Catholic Jesuit school in Brazil that blends a bespoke curriculum with the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the British curriculum for a rigorous, internationally minded education. The Ignatian pedagogy centers the student in an integral formation across intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and cultural dimensions, guided by the PEC and the Rede Jesuíta de Educação, and anchored by BNCC and UNESCO guidelines. Students develop five core competencies—Competentes, Conscientes, Criativos, Comprometidos, Compassivos—through a revised curricular matrix and active, autonomous learning. Assessment is semestral: descriptive reports in early years; AV1–AV4 and an annual final average in older years, with an option to take the IB Diploma in High School. The Ibirapuera campus (opened 2020) spans 28,000 m2, featuring science labs, a Maker Space, a library, a chapel, theatres, and a comprehensive sports complex, including a semi‑Olympic pool and track. Cambridge English preparation is also offered to families.
