Boarding Arrangements

The Homestay Program provides access to high school education for students from across Brazil. It is intended for students associated with the maintainer, Brasil Soka Gakkai International. The program offers students the chance to experience new places, people and cultures by studying at Colégio Soka do Brasil, and enables them to pursue the IB Diploma Programme. Staff from the school work with the maintainer to build a robust exchange network grounded in the institution's humanistic values. Since 2017, high school classes have included students from other regions of Brazil, and new students join the Homestay program each year.

Food Options

The kitchen is designed in accordance with ANVISA standards, with high-quality equipment and systems that minimize pollutant emissions, ensuring healthy and safe meals.

Governance and Ownership

Maintained by Brasil Soka Gakkai International (BSGI) as the school's maintainer; the Colégio Soka do Brasil is part of the Soka Global educational network. Since 2018, it has been an IB World School authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Colégio Soka do Brasil is a private day school in São Paulo that blends Soka Education philosophy with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Since 2018 it has offered the IB DP alongside the Brazilian high school diploma, preparing students for global pathways through multilingual options in English, Japanese and Spanish. The curriculum is BNCC-based in the early years and integrates language, culture, life skills, and the arts, while maintaining a strong bilingual emphasis as students advance toward high school.
