The campus sits on a 15-acre, purpose-built site in Campinas, Brazil. It is an accredited international school serving ages 2 to 19. The Facilities Master Plan guides growth and the Arts Center will include a 500+ seat theater, new specialized classrooms, and an expanded restaurant. The Arts Center is being developed with a safe external access point and other learning spaces. The Library Learning Commons offers a multilingual collection of print and digital resources with access to the Library Catalog and Sora eLibrary. International Day, Alumni Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving are signature events on campus.
The school integrates STEAM across the curriculum. Preschool and Elementary students use iPads and Chromebooks to support STEAM experiences; robotics is integrated in these levels. The Upper School runs a 1:1 laptop program. Middle School offers coursework in Art and Design, Graphic/Multimedia Design, Introduction to Engineering, Programming & Coding, and Robotics; High School offers elective courses in these areas. Portuguese language instruction for 4- and 5-year-olds is offered as part of the Brazilian Program (BP) following BNCC.
The After School Activities program serves Grades 1–12 with a co-curricular program including Athletics, Creative Arts, Academics, Technology, Wellness and Global Citizenship. Activities vary by year depending on season, staff and facilities. Signature events include International Day, Welcome Back Alumni Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Escola Americana de Campinas (EAC) is an independent, not-for-profit, co-educational international school on a 15-acre campus in Campinas, Brazil, about one hour from São Paulo. The school serves around 850 students aged 2 to 19 and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The curriculum combines Montessori foundations in Preschool with a standards-based American and Brazilian program in Grades 1–12, and offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme in Grades 1–5 and the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11–12. It operates as a dual-language environment (English/Portuguese) with Portuguese language instruction for 4- and 5-year-olds as part of the Brazilian program.
