English is the main language of instruction, and Portuguese, as the mother tongue of the majority of learners, is the language most commonly used in student interactions. In the early years, most instruction happens in English, with the lead teacher and the assistant teacher responsible for English input. G1 and G2 are immersed in an English environment, while Portuguese instruction begins in G3; language input continues daily, with literacy development in Portuguese in G3–G5. The school supports translanguaging and recognizes both languages as part of students' linguistic repertoire, aligning with IB standards and practices.
The school uses English as the language of instruction in a bilingual program. The team of teachers and assistants speaks English fluently and uses the language full-time, inside and outside the classroom. English is introduced through immersion and students develop fluency across all grades. Families may choose among half-day, semi-integral, or full-day immersion options.
English is introduced through immersion. Students experience the second language and learn through the pedagogical situations created by specialized teachers. Across all years at Global Me, children develop fluency in English. Instruction takes place in immersion periods, with parents selecting the period most suitable for their children: half-day, semi-integral, or full-day.
