Social and emotional learning is a core part of ISC. The Counseling Team identifies and supports students' emotional needs and collaborates with administrators, teachers, parents, and outside professionals.

The core curriculum, taught at all levels, includes Language Arts, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Modern Languages, Information Technology, Physical Education, and Health. ISC is accredited by the Secretaria de Educação do Estado do Paraná to meet Brazilian curriculum requirements, and internationally audited by CIS, NEASC, and the International Baccalaureate Organization. ISC offers the IB Diploma for students in Grades 11 and 12. The guiding principles emphasize essential future skills: communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, character, and citizenship.

SEL helps students understand and manage their emotions, set positive goals, show empathy, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. The counseling team works with administrators, teachers, parents, and outside professionals to identify students' emotional needs, provide appropriate support, and maintain constructive communication.

Wildcat Wellness supports the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of the ISC community through after‑school programs for parents and staff, including activities such as Yoga, Barre Fitness, Community Garden, Photography, Art, and beginner English for parents. The Wellness program is designed to develop skills that impact body and mind and is offered at no additional cost to participants.
