The school is an accredited International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) school and follows the English National Curriculum. It is approved by the Federal District State Department of Education (SEEDF) for Early Years, Primary, and Secondary education, with additional approvals for 2023 for Secondary and Sixth Form. The school is a COBIS member and part of the Latin American Headteacher Conference (LAHC). Pearson Edexcel GCSE qualifications are used at the school.

The British School of Brasilia, located in Lago Sul, is a British international day school for ages 2 to 18. It follows the English National Curriculum and offers Pearson Edexcel IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.
