The school is an IB World School delivering the IB Diploma Programme. It serves Nursery through Grade 12 and offers four educational programs: Early Years (Nursery–Junior Kindergarten), Elementary (Senior Kindergarten to Grade 6), Middle School (Grades 7–9), and High School (Grades 10–12). In the 2025–2026 school year, Elementary comprises Senior Kindergarten to Grade 6, and Middle School begins in Grade 7. The school operates from two centrally located campuses in Phnom Penh.
Performances, exhibitions, and specialist art classes are part of the arts program. The school fosters creativity and builds skills in music, drama, and visual art. Students have opportunities to participate in arts across the campuses.
Language learning is a specialization within the Global Citizenship program, emphasizing multilingual skills. The school promotes cultural understanding through global programs and opportunities like Experience Week, which includes off-campus and community engagement. Experience Week offers off-campus adventures that connect students with local communities, and students engage in local service projects. Student councils and student ambassadors provide leadership opportunities. The school hosts student-led events such as Model United Nations and robotics clubs, offering teamwork and leadership experiences. Soccer Academy is a high-performance program for Grades 6–12. Health services are provided on each campus, and all campuses are nut-free zones. The school offers a lunch program and a bus/buggy service to support daily logistics.
Canadian International School of Phnom Penh (CIS) is a private international school serving Nursery through Grade 12; the school opened in 2012 and is accredited by Alberta, Canada.
