Located in North Vancouver, Brockton School is an independent secular IB World Continuum institution serving Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. It is governed by the Brockton Preparatory School Society, a not-for-profit organization, and is the only independent BC school offering all four IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP, CP) alongside the BC Dogwood Diploma. The school emphasizes inquiry-based learning and language study, with English, French, Spanish and Mandarin available, and senior courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, plus ADST subjects such as Design Technology, Media Design, Digital Media Development, Entrepreneurship and Culinary Arts. The Duval Road campus (3467 Duval Road) includes a dedicated music room and other specialist spaces, with outdoor spaces used for learning outside the classroom and modular expansions completed in 2012, 2016 and 2020. Brockton supports a three-season athletic program and Outdoor Education, a World Music Program that has performed at Carnegie Hall and in Vienna, and a 6:1 student-to-faculty ratio. 100% of graduates transition to post-secondary pathways; a BYOD approach with Canvas supports digital learning. They acknowledge the unceded Coast Salish lands.
