Uniform Requirement

Uniforms are mandatory for all students from preschool through secondary. The complete uniform must be worn at entry and exit and at all times inside the College, with exceptions only for certain activities or theme days. The uniform is supplied by Raphaël U, the authorized supplier, and a Zone 2 thrift shop resells uniforms to raise funds.

Food Options

The cafeteria offers a complete and balanced daily menu prepared on site by the kitchen team led by chef Diego Gragera. The menu includes two hot dishes, a homemade soup, salads, crudités, fresh fruit, and a daily dessert prepared on site, following the Guide alimentaire canadien. Meals emphasize local sourcing and environmental considerations, and aim to promote healthy eating habits. Some starches such as chickpeas and red beans may be canned.

House System

Secondary students are randomly assigned to five Houses, each represented by a creature, a color and an element; a sixth House, Sans-Frontières, oversees the project. Each House is led by a student mentor and two house chiefs, with five councillors elected per House; students earn points for activities and a House Cup is awarded each year.

Governance and Ownership

Collège Charlemagne is a non-profit organization governed by a nine-member Board of Directors comprising graduating parents, current parents, and the Director General. The Board includes leadership roles such as president and vice-president, and a Foundation is part of the governance framework.
