How the annual price is composed (applies to both campuses)
- The ‘‘total annuel'' billed to families is the sum of: (1) the services éducatifs (tuition); (2) mandatory services accessoires à caractère éducatif; (3) mandatory accessory fees that give access to services (renovation fund, mandatory insurance, technology/IT contributions, student card, agendas, basic supplies, sustainable development fee, etc.). Optional activities (extracurriculars, camps, pedagogical trips, CNED courses when applicable, tablet contract, some optional course choices) are billed in addition.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Annual invoice timing: an annual invoice is issued and transmitted electronically no later than 9 September 2026.
- Two payment options are offered:
- Three installments (standard): 20 September — 40% of the annual total; 1 December — 30% of the annual total; 1 March — 30% of the annual total.
- Nine monthly pre‑authorized payments (pre‑authorized debit only): first payment 20 September, then eight monthly payments on the 20th of each month (October → May). Pre‑authorization form completion is required at enrollment.
- Accepted payment methods: online bank payment via financial institutions (preferred), personal cheque, postal or bank money order, debit card; some methods may be refused in exceptional circumstances. A penalty of CAD 50 applies for any dishonoured payment; CAD 50 administrative fee for any change of pre‑authorized debit date. Late interest is applied from the due date at 0.0536% per day; debt statements are treated as formal reminders and collection procedures apply for persistent non‑payment.

Boarding / residence
- Collège Stanislas operates as a day school with a morning/afternoon service de garde and does not operate a boarding (internat / pension) program at its Montréal or Québec campuses. Service de garde (before/after school care) and study halls are provided and are billed according to the service schedule when used.

Other costs and typical additional expenses
- Mandatory or regularly charged extras (examples included in the annual billing composition above): insurance (covered in accessory fees), student card replacement fees, small supplies, photocopying, agendas, lockers/cadenas, sustainable development fee, IT infrastructure fee, and a renovation contribution. Specific amounts differ by campus (see accessory fee lines above).
- Tablet / IT contributions: for students in classes Sixième → Quatrième, the College provides a tablet under a specific contract; a contribution is charged annually under that contract (tablet‑use contractual conditions are completed at registration). For some levels the College also specifies terminal / hardware requirements that remain the family's responsibility.
- Exam registration fees: all students in classes concerned by the French national exams (Troisième: Diplôme National du Brevet; Première: épreuves anticipées; Terminale: Baccalauréat and optional subjects) must be registered and will be billed the corresponding exam registration fees; those exam fees are non‑refundable and are invoiced when due.
- Estimated out‑of‑pocket amounts families typically budget for (examples): school supplies CAD 150–300 (varies by level); textbooks CAD ~500; sportswear CAD 30–200; school trips CAD 140–4,800 (depending on destination, duration and program). These items are normally not included in the annual tuition/accessory totals and are billed separately.

Refunds, cancellations and penalties
- Admission and registration fees are non‑refundable. If the contract is cancelled before services begin, the College may retain admission/registration fees and may charge an indemnity limited by the applicable provincial regulations or up to a contractual maximum (civil‑law / ministry rules; the contract limits the indemnity and specifies the calculation). If the contract is cancelled after services have begun, parents are liable for the price of services actually provided (calculated monthly) and a permitted penalty; any amounts paid in excess of what is owed must be refunded within ten (10) days of cancellation. Any partial‑year departures are subject to the College's stated billing rules (months begun are billed) and, in some cases, a voluntary‑departure penalty. Penalties and collection procedures for non‑payment (fees, interest, relances, possible referral to collection) are set out in the contract.

Optional services and extras
- Optional services (charged in addition to the annual total) include: extracurricular activities, musical or conservatory fees, certain optional academic options, service de garde beyond the included schedule, holiday day camps, pedagogical trips, CNED course fees when applicable, special academic accommodations, replacement items (agenda, locker lock, student card), and certain administrative requests. Optional course choices and trips are binding once chosen past the College's stated deadlines and may incur administrative fees if amended after deadlines.

Key administrative fees and penalties to note
- Dishonoured payment penalty: CAD 50.
- Administrative fee for changing a pre‑authorized payment date: CAD 50.
- Late interest: 0.0536% per day on overdue balances.

If you are entering figures into a database: use the campus‑specific annual amounts above (split between the tuition / services éducatifs line and the services accessoires / fixed accessory fees line) and add the listed building, IT and development fees as separate mandatory charges where your schema allows. Major optional items (exam registrations, tablets, trips, extracurriculars) are billed separately and should be recorded as additional-charge categories.

Collège Stanislas is a private, French‑language school with campuses in Québec City and Montréal, serving students from age 3 to 18. It delivers the official French curriculum homologated for use in Quebec, supplemented by Quebec courses, and it operates within the AEFE network while being subsidized by the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec. The Québec campus educates about 450 students from three‑year‑old kindergarten to terminale in a green, structured setting, and the Montréal campus (Outremont) serves more than 2,600 students from preschool to terminale. The school emphasizes values such as tolerance, honesty, responsibility, effort, cooperation and initiative, with life governed by rules to promote a safe, productive learning environment. A distinctive feature is the music program: the Little Conservatory of Music at the Québec campus and a Music Conservatory at the Montréal campus, complemented by technology and multimedia offerings across both sites, reflecting a blend of French and Quebec educational traditions.
